The fight for more equality, less oppression, a better world for all… it is an eternal fight.

Even small improvements are due to generations of struggle.

The world we fight for is based on cooperation and coordination and collaboration, rather than extraction and collection and competition. There will need to be systemic change before that world can be. Generations of paradigm shifting and uncolonizing and transitioning between what was and what could be.

We will not live to see the world that we fight for.

We must raise the next generations to continue the fight. To understand what they are fighting for, what they are fighting against, and why. We must give them the tools to identify the fascism and bigotry that hides in plain sight, and to expose the stuff that hides behind closed doors.

Practice and teach critical thinking. Connect to or build local systems of mutual aid. Within your limited power, start shaping your portion of the world into one that is safer and more welcoming.

The road to a better world for all is a never-ending journey. This is our part of it.

Help those who stumble and fall, fight those who want to go backward, protect each other from dangers of the route we found ourselves on, and seek out a better route and a better destination. And raise the next generations to shape the endless path and protect each other, as best they can, when we are gone.

Cultural shifts take time. Cultural shifts don’t end. Be purposeful in your part.

This is Maroonwood a high-octane cinematic fantasy storyboard about what happens when fear becomes policy. The Talkiri forest dwelling magic users are branded “unclean” by Vale and his anti-magic Concord, silenced with, raids, and forced removals. Then Serapha Nyx, the Twice-Born, steps into the storm: rallying the Ta'kiri under the Tree of Life, breaking the Quiet Law, and turning survival into war. The story builds from ash and box cars to myth-level counterstrikes, teal magic, cracked earth, and a final reckoning on the castle steps. Viewer discretion advised: fantasy harm and oppression themes. #Maroonwood #storyboard #darkfantasy #cinematic #witch #mindflaremusic

Care for and give aid to those in need wherever you can, even if you gain nothing in return. Protect and stand up for the oppressed and the marginalized. Have compassion, for it is the right thing to do.

“Every day out in the street now, i remind myself that Black people in amerika are oppresed. It’s necessary that i do that. People get used to anything. The less you think about your oppression, the more your tolerance for it grows. After a while, people just think oppression is the normal state of things. But to become free, you have to be acutely aware of being a slave.”

–Assata Shakur, Assata: An Autobiography (1988)

I hope this reaches a bunch of people. It must be shared to have it make sense to more reasonable people

Does this world not mercilessly put people of color, women, the impoverished (and so many, many more) on trial, guilty of the crime of being named as such. Thief. That’s that. Tell the truth….how? Perhaps some of us have the privilege of retiring to our privatized securities of the home as ever the fortress of liberty and “unwinding”? Yet, how? You will hear the voices. No thing can shut them down. The home itself is the space where the uncanny (Unheimlich) unfolds (Slavoj Zizek The Ticklish Subject: the absent centre of political ontology).
