A secret they don’t tell you is it’s also okay to like children’s shows and things that are cliche or poorly written or whatever without being able to defend it for being “actually super mature/deep/whatever” you can just like things for fun they don’t have to be meaningful or good also good is a made up thing and if it’s good to you then you have all that power no matter what critiques say. you can just enjoy things

Started a new series immediately after starting a different new series. The Princess in the Dumpster, so cute. Also started reading Dungeon Crawler Carl, but kinda fell asleep and dropped my phone on my face last night. It’s now in timeout until later. Should have just kept snuggling my Leo plush.

Just had to unfolllow someone because they were ranting & raving about “uggos” with plastic surgery & the whole time they were actual talking about Tyriq Withers & were bugging cus he did a shoot that people compared to an old Burt Reynolds shoot.
Like I’m not even a Withers stan but he definitely is running laps around fucking Burt Reynolds & I’m like 95% sure he just naturally has those features as a biracial man, which makes their post like 50% worse 💀

Omg!!! Dad was telling one of his little explorers about all the animals that live around him yesterday, and he forgot to mention the alligators. Can walk down the road to the creek where they show up. Always wondering into people’s yards n homes when they leave the doors open since it’s nice out. People aren’t allowed to kill them here. Have to wait for animal control to come subdue them and move them somewhere else. Suuuper suburban n residential area which is really funny. Lots of sailboats as well.
Keeping on theme, when dad was younger his family rented a home in a different part of town shortly after his sister was born. Was this big pond that wound around the area for quite a ways. Filled with so many critters. Frogs, fish, water moccasins, and even a giant tortoise that would wander around the area as well. Would just be on the couch and you’d see that guy slowly trotting by.
Weird area. Parents wouldn’t let me hang out with the neighborhood kids because they’d wander around in the forest. Normally that’d be fine, but the cops kept finding bodies back there so no fun for dad. Sigh. They’d always find these massive crystals and crystal blocks back there. Was so jealous.
