Thank you, im doing this while eating two different boxes of girl scout cookies and haven just woke up from my first proper nap. The plague is getting to me, I may go to urgent care but Im still thinking about it.
In the wonderful world where Goob is canon and is running round, I’ve always had a lil thingy going on in the back of my head regarding Floyd & Janice. But this requires a mountain of context slimming down to that Floyd & Janice broke up forever ago and haven’t been together for a loonnng time. It was an amicable breakup where both wanted different things (mainly Floyd) and decided that breaking up would be best rather than staying together, but they are still best of friends. They still do tons of things together and run off on their own and lot of the time to just hang out the two of them. I like to think they just talk about the world or sometimes gossip (its Floyd gossiping I see it for him in my plagued mind)
Now what would Floyd want that would cause him to want to break up? Well this ties into the whole “step-dad” thing. Floyd and Dr. Teeth got back together. This was probably a long time coming, and in Goob’s eyes she was very happy for those two finally getting back together since they had always been very on again and off again due to their free spirited nature’s and commitment issues on Teeth’s part. She was just happy her dad and the man she’s seen as her step dad for many years were finally reunited once more. When she first met the two, they were together and thing just changed over the years. (This decision was made solely cause I thought the name for their relationship being Dr. Pepper was funny and I ngl am biased and love the soda that shares the same name)
Floyd has always been very encouraging to Goob to say something to Janice and yet she’s done nothing because she cant muster up the courage. Floyd is the step dad who she goes to when she wants to do something a little more chaotic and wants someone to talk her through it. She definitely gets her perfectionism from him, hanging around him enough has made her definitely catch the perfectionism bug. She also happens to call him Sarge sometimes, its her version of calling him dad, but usually she just calls him Floyd.
I hope this gives some insight, I quite like Floyd a lot and hes so silly to me. I love Mr. Bassman hes my goat

Puppet update! I was going to use white felt for the eyes but I cannot for the life of me remember where I had it last LOL
But!! Yay! We’re getting somewhere! I left it for a really long time so it’s nice to come back to it! I think I just have the body and arms left to cover with felt, then I can make some clothes!😁
(sorry for the starters😭 censoring my hand because I had to hold the puppet weirdly LOL)

I know people don’t love the voice of Kermit’s new(ish) actor. And I have educated myself on why the change was made/why Steve Whitmire was let go. But why don’t they just have the guy who does Ernie on Sesame Street play Kermit? The voices aren’t too different and they were both originally played by Jim Henson. Is it a Disney thing?
