Also, move to complete EXHALE, loosening your AB-RIBBON in the position, and inhale tightening the AB-RIBBON, I prefer between three and five stacked inhalations in order to mobilize the hips in the low back!

These are two of my favorite dynamic movements to open up the hips and lower back. Focus on slow controlled movements and explode through the knee. The loaded beast to pop up will loosen the lower back and hips while the knee drive will help to fire the muscles in your glutes and engage your hip flexors for a solid warmup!

This strider hip lift variation is a nice balance to the strider hip slide I posted under this one because it allows for a nice stretch on the lateral hamstring instead of the medial.

The strider pattern is the same, foot comes right outside the hand with the toes pointed forward, shin is vertical ish, and knee is tracking outside the first two toes. The back leg can be bent for less intense of a stretch or less weight in the hands.

Lift the hips and add a full arm circle with t spine rotation and you will reaaaally feel the lateral part of your hamstring (back of the thigh behind the knee) get a nice stretch - direct the tension here while lifting the hips and rotating. You can also add the opposite reach for more core challenge and to balance out the t spine rotations as I did in the video.

Throw this in literally any time. Morning, night, before or after workout, middle of the day to break up the dreaded desk sitting, prior to sexually promiscuous activities, etc.

I only have two words to describe this experience: holy sh*t! I’ve had to fight a lot of thoughts in my head…mainly: “when the hell is it over?” “Will I make it out of here alive?” “Who in the world came up with this ‘hot yoga’?” “Is 96-106 degree heat really necessary?!” Through breathing exercises and following thru with the moves, these thoughts eventually subsided and I was able to focus on the task at hand. Happy to say I’ve finished! Got out alive! And burned nearly 400 cals in the process 😁😁😁. Will I do this again? Hell yes!!! (Well I do have four passes to use up I. 30 days thanks to Groupon - but despite that, I will do it again and again).
