Mabel Andrews was last seen off America Court in Orlando, Florida on January 16, 1976. She is described as a Black female with brown hair and brown eyes. She was only 16 years old when she went missing.

Don’t you just hate when your child goes missing and then because of that the other child(ren) get ignored. It causes your already broken relationship with their father to become even more dysfunctional. You recognise your missing child’s breathing on the phone and even when they return you treat them like they could do no wrong and like they will disappear again if you push too much. Don’t you just hate when that happens and you wouldn’t know if was talking about the Fishers or the Byers family.

Ava Marie Gonzalez, a two-year-old from Texas, disappeared in 2017. This post explores the case and the ongoing investigation into her whereabouts.

Does everyone remember how much people talked about and the news reported on Melodee Buzzard when she was missing?

I need people to start talking about another girl who also went missing under similar circumstances but who hasn’t recieved the same media attention: Gabrielle Terrelonge.

Like Melodee, Gabrielle also was last seen with her mother. There was also a gap between the time she was last seen and the time she was reported missing. Her mother also lied to authorities about her daughter’s whereabouts. But while there has been a few articles, it has been nowhere near the level of coverage Melodee got. I’ve reached out to some podcasts to request the case be covered, but I have only seen one episode on her disappearance.

So, please spread the news. Gabrielle is still missing, and she has a father who wants desperately to know what happened to his daughter.

Details of Disappearance

Joseph was last seen walking to his grandmother’s house in the 800 block of Elmwood Court in El Paso, Texas, on September 9, 1974. Joseph’s mother was washing the family’s car in their driveway at the time, and his father was indoors.

Joseph kept going from one parent to the other. When he disappeared, at first both his parents thought he was with the other one. He has never been seen again. All of his neighbors and his parents, who are now divorced, were ruled out as suspects in his case, and a search of the Rio Grande, which flows behind his house, turned up no clues.

A neighbor reported seeing an unidentified blue Ford on the street, which dead-ends, at the time Joseph was last seen. The vehicle disappeared at the same time Joseph did, but it hasn’t been proven that the car is connected to his presumed abduction.

Authorities believe Joseph is dead and they have a suspect, whom they have not publicly named, in his kidnapping and presumed murder. They presented their case to a grand jury, but the jury didn’t issue any indictments. Police stated the passage of time since Joseph’s disappearance has greatly hindered the investigation. The case remains active but unsolved.

Joseph is described as a Hispanic male. He was 1 years old at the time of his disappearance and was 2'6" and 22lbs. Joseph was also born with clubbed feet and was wearing orthopedic shoes to correct them at the time he went missing. If clubbed feet are left untreated, it could case intoeing later in life.

Sherise Magee was last seen in her Las Vegas, Nevada family home at 11pm on August 1st, 1975. She was taken by an unspecified family member and has never been seen or heard from again. It is unknown why the family member’s information has not been released to the public.

Sherise was 1 year old at the time of her disappearance. Her birthday is December 30, 1973, making her 51 years old today. She is described as a black female, with black hair and brown eyes. She has pierced ears. Her immediate family has never given up hope that one day Sherise will be found safe.

Distinguishing Characteristics: Hispanic female. Black hair, brown eyes. Marta was born in Guatemala.

Details of Disappearance:

Marta disappeared from Heflin, Alabama on September 30, 2013. She was last seen at her home on U.S. 431 in the Hollis Crossroads area at 4:20 a.m.

At the time of her disappearance, she lived with her sister, her brother-in-law and their children and was a student at Cleburne County High School. Her family realized she was missing after she didn’t return from school that afternoon. Authorities believe she left of her own accord.

After Marta’s disappearance, an unidentified man called her sister and brother-in-law’s home multiple times to say Marta was still in Alabama, then in the Atlanta, Georgia area, and then in Maryland. The number he was calling from has since been disconnected and authorities were unable to identify him or verify his statements.

Prior to her disappearance, Marta had spoken about returning to Guatemala, where she was born and where most of her family lives. She left a note behind saying this was her destination, but her sister and brother-in-law don’t believe she could have gone there because they hadn’t let her get a job and so she had no money. Her case remains unsolved.

• Distinguishing Characteristics: Black female. Black hair, brown eyes. Tarasha has a tattoo of her nickname “Pooh” on her upper right arm. She may wear tinted contact lenses. She talks in a loud voice, and her ears are pierced.

Details of Disappearance:

Tarasha was last seen in Selma, Alabama on June 26, 2010. She said goodbye to her mother and left home at 10:00 a.m. to go to a flea market. On the way there, she stopped at a yard sale and met with a relative who borrowed her cellular phone to make a call. It’s not clear whether Tarasha ever arrived at the flea market. She never returned home and has never been heard from again.

The car she was driving, a gray Mazda Tribute she’d borrowed from a friend, was found abandoned on the side of the road on Cecil Jackson Bypass, one mile from the flea market and facing the opposite direction. Two windows on the driver’s side were missing and the driver’s side door handle was broken, and it appeared as if someone had rummaged through the contents of the car.

It’s extremely uncharacteristic of Tarasha to leave without warning, and foul play is suspected in her disappearance. Authorities don’t believe she’s still in the local area, as extensive searches turned up no sign of her. One theory is that she was the victim of human trafficking, and/or that someone she was dating was involved in her disappearance. Her case remains unsolved.

Zoe J. Ross has been missing since May 7th, 2019. The then-17-year-old was last seen in Morristown, New Jersey. On the day she vanished, Zoe went to school as usual. She reportedly left the building without telling any school staff members around 1:00 PM. Zoe never returned and has never been seen or heard from again.

Zoe’s disappearance from the school was quickly noticed by staff, as she was reported missing by 1:30 PM - just 30 minutes after she was last seen. Despite this quick action, police were not able to track Zoe down. Now, several years have passed since her disappearance, and Zoe has still not been located.

There are very few details available about Zoe’s life around the time she went missing. It’s known that she was living at a group home in Freehold at the time of her disappearance. It’s also known that Zoe was adopted from Ukraine at some point during her childhood. She lived with adoptive parents prior to moving into the group home. Details about why or how Zoe ended up at the group home have not been publicly shared.

Although there has been very little news reporting on Zoe’s disappearance, there has been some online chatter from her former classmates and friends. In spring 2025, a Reddit user made a post about Zoe’s disappearance. The poster stated that they went to the same alternative high school as Zoe and was there on the day she vanished. The former classmate said they heard rumors about Zoe getting into a car after exiting the building, but this rumor has never been confirmed. 

Other online discussions note that Zoe’s adoptive family has seemingly never appealed to the public or posted anything about Zoe’s disappearance. Another Reddit user commented on the aforementioned post and stated that they, too, knew Zoe and had heard that she did not have a good relationship with her adoptive parents. Unfortunately, it appears that Zoe did not have a very big support system at the time she vanished.
