Ci sono giorni che non passano mai davvero.
L’11 marzo torna ogni anno con la stessa precisione crudele.
Per il mondo è solo un giorno qualunque.
Una data sul calendario.
Una pagina che si sfoglia e poi si dimentica.
Ma per me no.
Per me è il giorno in cui il tempo si ferma.
Il giorno in cui il cuore ricorda qualcosa che non ha mai davvero smesso di sapere.
Che da qualche parte, lungo il cammino della mia vita,
ho perso una parte di me.
Ci sono persone che non dovrebbero mai diventare ricordi.
Persone che dovrebbero restare accanto a noi per sempre.
Come il mare.
Come il cielo.
Come il respiro.
E invece un giorno il mondo decide diversamente.
All’inizio pensi che il dolore sia qualcosa che il tempo sistemerà.
Te lo dicono tutti.
Che passerà.
Che imparerai ad accettarlo.
Che la vita andrà avanti.
La verità è che la vita va avanti davvero.
Ma tu no.
Una parte di te resta ferma esattamente lì.
In quell’istante in cui tutto si è spezzato.
Gli anni passano.
Impari a sorridere quando serve.
A riempire le giornate di rumori, di impegni, di piccole distrazioni.
E da fuori sembri andare avanti come tutti.
Ma dentro resta qualcosa che non guarisce.
Perché ci sono assenze che non diventano mai più leggere.
Non diventano cicatrici.
Restano ferite vive.
Basta un dettaglio qualunque per farle sanguinare di nuovo.
Una parola detta da qualcuno.
Un gesto che ti ricorda il suo.
Un silenzio troppo simile a quello che ha lasciato.
E in un attimo il tempo crolla.
Il cuore torna lì.
A quel momento preciso in cui hai capito che il mondo sarebbe stato per sempre un posto un po’ più vuoto.
Ci sono sedie che nessuno occuperà mai più.
Voci che non sentirai più chiamarti.
Sguardi che non troverai più tra la gente.
E allora capisci la verità più dolorosa di tutte.
Quando perdi qualcuno che ami davvero,
non perdi soltanto lui.
Perdi il pezzo di vita che esisteva solo quando lui era lì.
Così continui a camminare nel mondo con quel vuoto dentro.
Invisibile agli altri.
Pesante come una pietra nel cuore.
E nei giorni come questo,
quando il calendario segna di nuovo l’11 marzo,
il tempo sembra fermarsi un attimo.
Come se anche il silenzio sapesse.
Che dentro di me esiste una stanza
che nessuno potrà mai riempire.
Perché in quella stanza
non vive un ricordo.
Vive una mancanza.
E quella mancanza
sei tu.
11 marzo.
E il mondo resta un po’ più vuoto.

Will we finally learn what happened to Amelia Earhart?
From 1937, missing aviator Amelia Earhart is shown in the cockpit of her Lockheed Electra 10E, the aircraft in which she attempted her “Flight Around the World” beginning May 20, 1937.
For almost 90 years, her fate has been an open question that has eluded a definitive answer. In April, 2026 (next month!) a team of researchers will travel to Nikumaroro, a small island in Kiribati to follow up on evidence that the Electra 10E is “The Taraia Object” seen in satellite images.
The expedition to Nikumaroro was originally scheduled for November 2025, but was postponed due to regulatory snafus and weather. The expedition is led by the Purdue Research Foundation - Ms. Earhart’s employer at the time of her disappearance.
