getting cured of social media by each site that i use blowing up one at a time

fell off fb pretty quick because it was a real people thing

reddit massively raising their cost of their calls and forcing people to comply within a short period of time killing all the 3rd party apps a few years back got me off of there

insta basically never showing u anything from anyone u follow got me to get off of there except for occasional scrolls

ider when i got off public twt, maybe the buyout? or the ai thing maybe… idk i still use it for a kvetching diary bc most of my friends are on there but honestly i barely see their posts nowadays too so i just yell into the void and i dont really count that using i guess. and you can still kinda see some sort of news on there i guess.

my enthusiasm for tumblr is in the pits i will say. i can still look at funny posts i guess but i wonder how many of them there will be ? i dont even know how i want to interact w art moving forward and im sure as shit am not posting any of my own now. this was my main playground forreal but i also cant see myself continuing to use it the same way i did before moving forward, if at all.

bsky is the only thing left functionality-wise but quite frankly the fandoms im interested are barely alive there… i donno man :(
