What an interesting question.

Kick me out of the Warp? Little Mortal, there are hundreds of insignificant godlings in the Warp: Neocho only one of them, no offense to him.

My Siblings can’t stop the Anathaema from crossing into the Warp. They can’t stop Bela’kor, that couldn’t stop the Eldar from regrowing their own little god of Death. They have no idea what to do with Vashtorr. Do you really think they would have any luck with me?

Believe me, if it were that simple, there would only be one of us long before your concept of time approaches the present, let alone M42.

There is, of course, the idea that gods can be slain, and if the Eldar are any indication, they certainly can be. It has also been an occasion for one god to devour another from time to time. Of course, this is to speak only of “gods” in the Warp. There are others, and I cannot speak for them.

The principle means of “removing” a god from the Warp is to starve him of the thing that empowers him or… as I have said above, to absorb his essence. But this is tricky. You’d think they’d have figured that out by now. But -something- keeps driving a wedge between them. Something…

In theory, the so called “Chaos Gods” should all be burning out and reforming naturally over time anyway. Wax, Wane: that’s the cycle. The problem is that the other four haven’t done this in ages. Best to encourage them, then.

Thank you for an excellent question, Little Mortal.

Malice’s series: meme

I didn’t write the next chapter so as a small compensation, have a meme about the Arc 2 instead:

Malice: Road trip with friends <3

Weaponmaster: We’re literally on the run from the [heroes]

Back to Malice’s series: alternative universes (and other, apparently)

Entry 7

I really don’t like the Arc 2 as it is. I wanted it to be a feel good arc, with a little bit of hurt/comfort still but with essentially fluff and comfort.

But the Arc 2 turned out to be angst on its bed of angst with angst and more angst sprinkled on top.

I don’t know how I’m going to make it change yet but I think that’s also why I have writer’s block on this series. I’m going to select the chapters I would like to keep and see where I can write more fluff while moving the plot forward.

History is of value. If more of us took heed of the mistakes of the past, the future could be a different thing.

Proverbs 26:27

Malice backfires; spite boomerangs. [The Message]

People who set traps for others get caught themselves. People who start landslides get crushed. [Good News Translation]

Whoever digs a pit [for another man’s feet] will fall into it, And he who rolls a stone [up a hill to do mischief], it will come back on him. [Amplified Bible]

Whoever digs a pit will fall into it, and a stone will come back on him who starts it rolling. [English Standard Version]

If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead. [New Living Translation]

Word of the day: Malice- someone who has the intention to make you feel unlovable, unlikable, or unwanted. Someone who at the core wants to make you feel like shit on purpose.

Fantastic Four #11 by Ryan North, Pat Boutin and Stan Sakai. Variant covers by (1) Rickie Yagawa, (2) Benjamin Su, (3) Andrea Sorrentino and (4) Simone Bianchi. Main cover (5) by Humberto Ramos and Edgar Delgado. Out in May.

“The Invincible Woman has been defeated… but what comes next? And how can the Fantastic Four be ready for it, especially when they can’t actually agree on what the future looks like? And to make matters worse, Doom’s technology is now making its way into the world at large — including into the hands of two-bit criminals who are wholly unprepared for its awesome might! PLUS: The Future Foundation makes its return — as does a two-story A.I.M. plot of destruction from years ago! And all this happens as the Fantastic Four have their hands full… with the return of THE CRIMEASAURUS REX!”

But Jesus perceived their malice, and said,

“Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites? Show Me the coin used for the poll-tax.”

And they brought Him a denarius. And He said to them,

“Whose likeness and inscription is this?”

They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” Then He said to them,

“Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.”

And hearing this, they were amazed, and leaving Him, they went away.

Jack Whitehall Trades Punchlines for Suburban Anxiety in The ‘Burbs - Newsweek

What was it like working with David Duchovny on Prime Video’s Malice? He’s someone who successfully balances being a serious actor and being incredibly funny.

He was great—professional, intelligent and very thoughtful. He’s a big star, but he never threw his weight around. I was definitely a little needier than him on set because I was stepping into uncharted territory, but he was very patient and supportive. He didn’t roll his eyes when I asked the director for one more take. He’s very “chilled” and comfortable in his skin; he’s a really interesting guy.
