knowing this is not enough is enough

The 2 sides of a map

1st side:

I’ve spent a lot of time noticing patterns.
Predicting small things, watching them unfold,
and sometimes…. the map ends up matching the footsteps.

There’s a strange weight to being right
like standing on the edge of a storm and knowing it’s coming,
