Legit finding out that JD and Elliot got divorced boggled my mind, which is funny because I grew up with the show due to my parents and I didn’t particular ship them when I was a kid but BUT-
The usage of the song “Stolen” by Dashboard Confessional in the original series when JD is under the impression his chances with Elliot were gone by the song legitimately changing the meaning of the lyrics “you have stolen my heart,” by claiming Elliot herself is JD’s heart is one of my favorite uses of a song in any media ever and has stuck with me for years.

Aw hi Jazzlyn
(oh yeah I should probably say now that the Coach of Crying Blood is Named Jazzlyn in this au, the coach of lollipop is her sister and is named Jessie. Also I Kinda just choose characters I think would work well as Gods so if it seems random it pretty much is lol)
TLDR : Jazzlyn prays to God(s) because of a breakup, and Jessie is annoying as hell lmao

Jazzlyn muttered on her knees beside the bed, burying her face into the linen sheets, poor girl. Her first breakup definitely got to her. But then again, Jazzlyn had been making a lot of prayers to the gods and deity’s lately. some to Luke Cypher, the God of revenge. (I bet you can guess what she wants revenge for.) Some more to Rose A. Lina, The goddess of Beauty, but around 80% of the prayers went to Ann.
Jazzlyn groaned before she finally got up and flopped onto her bed, holding a unicorn plushie she’s had for God knows how long.
“Maybe I just need to relax for now.. Ann G. Lina will make everything okay..!” Jazz attempted to reassure herself, she was actually starting to calm down until-
KNOCK KNOCK!!
“HI JAZZ! I’M COMING IN!” Oh brother. Here Comes the most annoying, immature twin sister someone could have.. Jessie.
“Mom brought Chinese! she got those egg rolls you really like- .. why do you look so miserable??”
Jessie & Jazzlyn were complete opposites, Jessie was in no rush to grow up; trying to stay a kid forever with her silly dress and her hair still in childish pigtails. Jazzlyn, on the other hand.. well, let’s just say she can’t wait to turn 18.
“Get out of my room, Jessie. Go play hopscotch or something since you refuse to grow up.. leave me alone.”
“I don’t REFUSE to grow up, Silly goose! I’m just not in a super duper fast rush to become an adult like you are-”
“GET OUT OF MY ROOM!”
“alright, alright, Jeez!”
Jessie skipped her way to the door. She loved her sister, she really did- but seeing her get so mad was honestly quite amusing.
