A female swallowtail butterfly, called the Common Mormon because of its polymorphism, feeding on Panama Rose flowers in the Gardens by the Bay.

This that looks like the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis 'Cooperi’ blooming on the southern bank of the Marina Reservoir.

Musa lasiocarpa or Golden Lotus Banana looking like lotus flowers in the Gardens by the Bay.
This plant is apparently closely related to bananas but it won’t produce any bananas.
After having photographed single blooms before, we had been wanting to get at least a couple of them in the same frame. Happily for us though, more have been blooming recently. Although they were still quite far apart, this was at least close to the desired views.










First two days in Singapore and probably done more steps than the last month combined 🤣
