Day 7: Take your son for a walk/don’t let the cat out of the bag day. I mean, seriously, M.J. wins the cutest cat award, daily. Second pic is the sign at Powderhorn Park that used to say “camping isn’t allowed in the park” that they put up right after they evicted the homeless encampment that was there. Third pic is a random dog that wanted to say hi after I took the picture of the heart sign, right before I headed to meet Jeffy for a walk with his dog. #dogdaysofwinter

On our walk we found a food shelf version of a Little Free Library which was awesome to find. And then we found a Little Free Poet Tree, which was also awesome to find. We found street art of someone hanging on for dear life… and someone wanting someone to “Please take thank you cans.” I mean, what’s a thank you can? 😉 Lastly Jeffy found a postcard in the snow that was for a few houses down that we hand-delivered and stuck in the door. It was a -4° walk, and surprisingly it wasn’t that cold. It did however, make my camera stop working, producing an error… this is kind of a tough scary week for my cameras if you might’ve seen Eddie’s kite knocked me in the face and I dropped my other camera in the snow… sooooo… today was a little nerve-racking in a different way, and disappointing as I basically had to stop taking pictures. And I’ve never had a Camera fail on me in the cold! But it seems to be fine, and I managed to get my 10 photos for the day. (Which has just become an unofficial number, as I take so many photos and it’s hard to edit things down, and Instagram can have 10 photos soooo… sounds like a solid number)
Ok, that’s all I got for today… by the time I get done with all this I don’t have it in me to write a Today poem, so that might have been a one-off. 😊❤️👋🏻 (at Minneapolis, Minnesota)
