Ramadan

It knocked my door, when I was at my worst. When my heart was drowned in desperation. When my body was numb and my when my eyes couldn’t see anything else, anymore. When my life on this world felt stopped for a while.

I opened the invitation only with two things in my mind; With endless gratitude and with deep guilt of my past.

Arrival of the Ramadan was more than Allah’s mercy for me , it was a wave of air through which Allah made me to breathe. Which made me to feel alive. Among all the storms that crushed me in this world, Through this Ramadan Allah revived my soul in unimaginable ways.

Ya Allah, Please guide my nafs only to you, your remembrance and your mercy. Cuz, nothing heals me other than worshipping you and remembering you.

As the end of Ramadan has reached. I Pray that, may our hearts be guided more and more during the last days and after the end of ramadan.

May All the hearts that was healed. Every soul which gained back it’s life. Everyone who found themselves in this Ramadan, be blessed during their whole lifetime.

May our actions and deeds be accepted. May every ibadah be accepted and benefit our Akhira. May All be protected from the hellfire and may All be guided to the highest place in Jannah. Ameen

May every choice and step we choose to make in this life, be blessed in our lives ahead and bring us closer to Allah in every way. Ameen

An-Nisa 4:106

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِ ٱللَّهَۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِيمࣰا

“And seek forgiveness of Allah. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.”

Why is it called: Ramadan?

The word Ramadan comes from the word Ramad which means “burning” (or “scorching”).

Imam Qurtubi said:

“It was named Ramadan because it burns away the sins of people through good deeds.”

(Tafsîr al-Qurtubi 2/271)

All it takes is one Ramadān to change a life forever.

Never mock someone who becomes religious as soon as Ramadan begins, even if they have a sinful lifestyle outside of it. Wallahi, many people change their lives forever during Ramadan. While we sit and mock them, they may surpass us in ibadah. Guidance can settle in their hearts at any moment, and they may come out far more righteous than us. And then, we will regret our mockery.

May Allah give us patience for what we cannot comprehend, and may we remain steadfast on our deen during the days it is the most difficult.

Normalize saying “Alhamdulillah” when life feels heavy because gratitude brings peace even before change does.

When the soul works for Allāh, the body doesn’t get tired.

Don’t let laziness or fatigue make you miss the countless opportunities of Ramadan. Yes, you might still have exams or important work, but find balance—manage your responsibilities while prioritizing your ibādah.

Ramadan comes only once a year, for a limited number of days. No one knows if they’ll witness the next one. So push yourself, give it your best, and make every moment count.

Strive to make this Ramadan your best one yet ✨️
