Ft. Cow

Ajralko is one of those characters I’ve had for a while but never really done much with.
Their first appearance was in the 2002ish “Crappy World” comics I was drawing during high school, but in that Ajralko was just a generic bad guy minion type who showed up alongside a group of other miscellaneous minor bad guys and got beaten pretty easily.
Probably the most interesting thing about Ajralko is where I got the idea for the thing – I had a dream where I was playing a weird version of Pokémon Gold/Silver that included a Safari Zone where I ran into two Kangaskhans at the same time and also had at least a few new Pokémon that weren’t normally in the game, including a steel gorilla and a pale blue psychic lizard thing. The lizard-thing’s design ended up being reused as Ajralko.
Maybe I’ll end up reusing Ajralko again at some point.
Over the weekend, I ended up thinking back to the cow characters I used to draw all the time back in 2nd grade, and how they usually traveled on these jet-propelled flying surfboard things.
And then I realized that I haven’t actually drawn them using those at all since I redesigned the cows themselves back in… 2013 or so. I had to fix that, of course!

COW(S), a fully grown female animal of a domesticated breed of ox, kept to produce milk or beef.
[[MORE]]Adding “looked up the definition of a cow” to the list of things I am never going to be telling people. Wait…
No, but I grab the definitions of these things because sometimes folks either don’t know or I take a very niche definition (like with ‘Yellow = Cowardice’ a few days ago). Hell, I am doing the word PURPLE later this month and that one was risky!
As for the pic itself, I wanted to make something simple and cute, especially since my step mom recommended it and I like making her smile.
Farm animals like cows, donkeys, and pigs scare me. Despite all of that, I like cows because they’re really smart and I’ve seen plenty of cute videos of them interacting with people like pets! Waffles the Donkey has also eased a lot of my anxiety, though the sounds donkeys make still put me on edge. As for pigs… they would intentionally kill and eat me, if given the chance.
Anyway, enough about farm animals, I hope you all enjoyed today’s picture!
