The amber glow grew brighter in the tunnels. Hundreds of shadows showed in the torchlight.
The kobolds chants built to a crescendo.
“Could be a song of welcome and greeting?” Ondi suggested.
“When are we ever that lucky?” Bruza grumbled, hefting his mace.
“You’ll never find them.”
“I think you doubt my friend’s powers of persuasion.” The Duchess said.
“The halfling?” The acolyte smirked at Ondi.
“My other friend. Oh, Bruza?”
The door opened, the orc had to duck to enter.
“Let’s ‘ave a little chat, is it?” Bruza grinned.
“The signal’s coming from that cave.”
Drew’s sensors were picking it up but couldn’t ID it. Odd that it wasn’t in the Tezon databases.
“Stay here. I’ll check it out.” He told the norms.
What he found amazed him, a skeleton in an antique spacesuit.
“What the hell’s NASA?”
Yesterday they’d met between the lines, shared cigarettes, sang, played football.
But Christmas was over, it was back to normal, Tommy’s gun felt heavier.

“We all have to do things we don’t like, Ondi.” Bruza said as soothingly as an orc can.
“Yeah, stop acting like a petulant child.” The Duchess chided.
“Mi-mi-mi-mi.” Ondi mocked.
“Think you’ve just lost this one, mate.” Bruza said. “Just put on the Christmas hat like me”
Skam ducked the crow’s attack. Coming up, sword drawn, he waved the scroll in his other paw.
“I’m a messenger. From Rodentia!”
The crow sighed.
“Fine, rat, come along.”
The king was a surprise.
“Expected an eagle, right? Or an owl?” The wren said. “Sorry to disappoint”
The Seraph turned around, puzzled it saw that its harp was missing.
Then came a sound, not the ethereal tones of Heaven but something harder, with more edge and a sense of grimy danger.
“We are Motorhead,” a voice growled. “And we play rock and roll.”
“Sit!” The lord snapped as he entered the room.
Bruza looked about.
“What are you doing?”
“Just looking for who yer talking to like that, cos I know it ain’t me.” The orc growled.
“Listen, orc-”
“You summoned us, elf. You need us for something, so mind yer manners”

Queet scurried frantically, seeking an exit.
He hit a dead end. The dwarves, smiling behind their beards, closed in.
But a rat is even more dangerous when cornered.
They ran out of the temple and Bruza slammed the huge metal doors with an echoing bang.
“What the hell is that?” Ondi said.
“I think it’s the curse.”
“You said, and I quote ‘the curse is just bollocks made up to scare looters’!”
“I was wrong okay?!”

The elves had outlawed worship of Penbwca. The goblins ignored this.
Now the elves had declared war.
Gugg would show them their error.
He cast off his robes.
Brother Gugg was gone.
Gugg Gorefang had returned.
The sea was still, the shore mere metres away.
Huddled on the rock, they watched the setting sun.
“We can’t stay here all night.” One said. “If we all go at the same time, it can’t catch everyone.”
They dived in, making frantically for land.
Beneath them, she smiled.
“You wouldn’t dare!” The Duchess sounded uncertain.
“There are lotsa guards coming, and I’d rather not have to kill anyone.” Bruza growled. “So, you climb the wall, or I throw you over it.”
She looked at Ondi, the halfling considered the wall.
“He could probably do it.”
“Hey love, how about a kiss?” The drunk slurred, pawing at the Duchess, who was readying an acidic retort.
There was a cracking sound like a thunderbolt as Bruza hit him across the jaw, sending him crashing against the wall.
“Keep yer hands to yerself.”
They’d given them the wrong directions and watched them walk to their doom, so the villagers were stunned when the travellers returned.
The halfling was shaken.
The orc was furious.
He carried the Protector’s head.
“I’d like a word.” Bruza growled, throwing it down.

На самом деле вполне себе нормальный Портер. Чуть сладкий. Газировки малость многовато. Вкус характерный для портера, но не особо выдержанный. Морошка не чувствуется. Пару раз мелькал подозрительный привкус. Но в целом приятно удивлён, хотя пивал портеры и получше.
Этикетка сумбурная и невнятная. Коллаж в который решили запихать слишком много. С этим к Цесу всё ещё проблемы.
