2/9. Dani smiles slowly, giddy in anticipation, before launching a series of quick stabs at Helen, who narrowly avoids them.

3/9. Dani continues her attack, leaving no openings for Helen who's only option is to evade and block.

4/9. After blocking a strike, Helen pushes Dani's bladed hand away and spins out of the way of her attacker. Dani uses this momentum to turn Helen and pushes her face first against a wall. A wall-mounted jewelry case shatters on impact and Helen slumps to the floor.

5/9. An overhead view from a corner mirror shows Dani launching herself at Helen again. Helen pushes herself off the floor and meets the offensive head on, blocking the attack.

6/9. After evading Dani's blade, Helen takes a hold of the knife hand, knees Dani in the stomach. Then she bangs Dani's head to a glass cased jewelry display table.

7/9. Holding Dani against the display, Helen swipes a pearl necklace from the cracked case and tightens it around Dani's neck.

8/9. Pulling the pearls tighter around Dani's neck, Helen takes the knife from Dani and uses it to cut the necklace. Dani falls to the floor gasping for air.

9/9. Helen pins Dani to the floor and holds a knife to her throat.

You know I’m not going to kill you. Because I’m still Helen Webb, and Helen Webb doesn’t stab girls to death in jewelry stores on Christmas Eve.

The ones with a date of completion after two years in the future. Whenever I saw things like that, I’d stop and wonder “Will I survive until then?”… Oh, but I just mean as a habit. Not an obsession or anything. Just a sudden notion. So I was always scared and never liked to talk about those things. But now, I… want to talk about it if it’s the two of us.
