hello I’m late to this ask

• Max has such a soft spot for Space Kid it’s not even funny
• This is gunna sound so dumb but I day dreamed an episode where max and space kid had a silly fake wedding bc preston wanted to have a romance play and max just. Let it happen bc he was just so over everything and they were wedded with ring pops and space kid still calls max his husband and max is too tired to do anything about it
• Their love language is head bonks. Like they’ll just be existing and one of them will bonk their head on the others shoulder or back
• Max would be caught dead before he was seen publicly being extra nice to space kid
• In high school space kid mellows out and he enjoys talking to max bc max likes to hear about how weird nasa was back in the day
• Space Kid is much more affectionate, just in general

yeayea! tho tbh, its mostly platonic for me, but i do rlly like it! :) i find max’s soft spot for space kid very sweet. that’s his little buddy….

What made you ship it?

I think at first it was learning that the VA’s are married in real life that brought my attention to it, but I think the way max cares abt space kid is super adorable. outside of the other main 4 he doesn’t give that much of a shit abt the other campers, but he cares a little more abt space kid and I like that. I’m not usually a big fan of “grump x ray of sunshine” but this is my exception >_>

Also the fact that they’ve both got kinda absent parents (at least, we can assume space kid does) but seemingly different responses to that and. Idk shared trauma w different responses is something I like in ships? makes for good dialogue

What are your favorite things about the ship?

It’s so soft. It’s by far the softest ship involving max and damnit my boy deserves soft !!! Also if you write it correctly you can draw parallels between spacemax & gwenvid :3

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

I haven’t been in the fandom for like four years so Idk if any opinions I have would be unpopular. But iirc people liked to characterize max as.. well a ‘tsundere’ in a lot of ships?? and I hate that :/ don’t flanderize my favorite character ty

everybody keeps liking and reblogging my addition to this one sentence starter post where i state what fandoms and ships i’ll write for and saying please send me some, but nobody’s actually sending me any so i’m taking direct action. i’m sad please send me prompts or sentence starters i will write you a fic! please i crave online interaction.

i will write for:

camp camp! my main fandom! i love love love camp camp talk to me about season four! or any of the seasons really! i’ll do any camp camp ship except counselor/camper ships those are gross. A couple of my favorite things to write about are: the campers as teens/adults (idk how children work lol i’m an only child) jaspvid/gwenvid/jaspgwenvid, reformed but still kinda shit daniel, and daniel as a serious villain

umbrella academy! one of my other main fandoms! such a great show! i’ll write patch/diego and dave/klaus but i do not ship any of the seven together. i do love writing sibling dynamics tho!

sanders sides! i reblog a lot of sanders sides content so i feel like that’s what a lot of people follow me for! but i’ll totally write for it, i wrote a winged au once and that was really fun! i’ll do sympathetic or villainous deceit, just no remus/roman, they are siblings and that is gross.

sally face! the fandom’s kinda dead but i love everything about that game! i will write sal/larry in aus where they don’t end up being stepbrothers, but i love love love sal/redeemed travis. i’ve currently got a wip if that ship and it’s the most fun dynamic! i love writing redemption arcs!

dan + phil! i haven’t written about them since my dark days of wattpad, but i’d be interested in trying again! i love and support both of them very much and i really love the way they’ve been so supportive of fanart and fiction of themselves.

marvel! i’ve never written any marvel stuff, tho i do have an idea for one fic, kind of a darker re-imagining of the events post infinity war if the people who lived and died were basically swapped. also, going back to where i said i shipped sal/travis, I do basically the same thing for marvel where i love love love peter/redeemed flash! gotta love those enemies to lovers fics! but i’ll write a lot of ships (no st*rk*r or th*rki of course) for marvel, especially frostiron, winteriron, bucky/sam, stucky… yeah it’s clear who my favorite characters are haha.
