KNOSIS, CHAPTER I:
- Knosis is the acquisition of knowledge only to be haunted by it. A Virtue given something higher than it due to its desire to help. Only to break down and flee. Knosis is actually borderline greater angel(?) But it doesn’t want to be called an angel because to be an angel is to be pure. And it doesn’t deserve that “privilege” anymore.
- Gnosticism - what its name is based on - is a diverse, early Christian-era religious movement emphasizing salvation through secret, divine knowledge (gnosis) of one’s true spiritual origin.
- Knosis had crashed into a pillar in Limbo on the way down to Hell, hastily grabbing onto a drone shell(from Ichor’s slaughter) and then finding home in the metal body, it would alter the body after a bit, hollowing it out. It tries to act like a normal drone, even if it is far too intelligent for its own good.
- Knosis would soon meet Ichor, becoming allies after several loops. Knosis *did* retain the memories of previous loops, something Ichor had never seen before.
Note: Knosis had lost its halo not only by choice(due to not thinking itself virtuous enough to be an angel), but also since it didn’t want to be recognised easily. It was left in Greed.
KNOSIS, CHAPTER II:
- The loops also affected Knosis itself. Instead of facing what it left, it kept depending on the ‘memory erasing’ part of it to just… try. And yet, the effort wasn’t there.
- After Lament form Ichor, the loops would shatter, and they(each of the Thread Trio alongside Ichor) would be brought to a land where dimensions were brought together. Of course, Knosis’s first instinct was to hide… but she was soon spotted by another V1. This one would challenge what she thought, her own worldview, and it made her more endeared to the ways of a machine.
- The next person, nay, angel they would find was a lost one, trying to escape a fate that it had long since accomplish. Lending her knowledge, she showed it truth. And in a way, faced their own cowardice, now able to give the truth, even if it was subtle.
- They would return to the layer of Violence, deciding for herself that she would go her own way. Tearing the spear of an EARTHMOVER, they used it to help channel their life.
- Unsatisfied with her form, she went to Lust, grabbing the body of a dormant mindflayer, while also grabbing excess drones. Creating a body she would cherish with her life.
- To truly show that they had chosen the way of the machine, after sealing themself in their new form, they would bathe their body in blood, accepted by the V1 she had interacted with earlier while she was resting.
