So Halloween is over… and now im sad. Sigh~ To end the season- heres an unfinished doodle i was making for an Evil Redstar au. The other cat being Gracestar.

Fuck It Imma Just Rant About my AU (Redstar)

AU where Steve “saves” Bucky from HYDRA again after they’ve already taken his arm, injected him with serum again, and done brain surgery on his ass.

When he’s rescued, everything *seems* normal. Over the course of a year, though, it’s pretty clear that he’s been “dumbed down” in some areas and enhanced in others. He’s got enhanced vision, hearing, and touch but his taste and smell are fucked up (yes, I know the smell is an exception to the ‘brain surgery’ rule. We’ll get to that). He’s supposed to be a perfect assassin, which he is, but when he’s not in that “mode”, he bumps into things. He’ll forget people’s names. Sometimes math is an issue. Worst of all, he’s forgetting things.

Despite this, the government (and Steve) still see him as valuable. Steve wants the forgetting thing to get investigated, but it never does.

So he gets a new name, based off the metal arm: Redstar (hehe)

He also gets a basic mask, similar to the HYDRA one, but it’s red and black and got a mouthpiece for him to self-soothe (AKA a spot to bite down while he’s getting shot/stabbed). Also, it’s got filtration like gas masks of the time, just in case.

Then comes the incident. He’s with Steve, and although Steve initially debates crashing the ship, Bucky forgets Steve’s name during the fight. The pure shock of it all causes him to freeze, and crash. They both get frozen and honored as heroes.

When they’re both preheated by SHIELD in the microwave, Fury offers the opportunity to join SHIELD for the both of them. They both accept, but Fury realizes really quickly that Something Is Wrong™️ with Bucky.

Spottedpelt doesn’t really “come out” of her own accord… well, she confesses her feelings to another she-cat. But that she-cat reports her to their current leader, Seedstar, who gives Spottedpelt a public beating for it.

buuut what you’ve described here would DEFINITELY make Redstar suck even more xP because he’d be a cheater! And if he pursued Spottedpelt, well, a huge creep too. His daughter Dawnfeather is already grown when Birdflight and her kits move in. In fact, his daughter is actually significantly older than Birdflight! He’s pretty old when SkyClan is driven out… about 10 years old, and on his last few lives.

so nope, I dont think the idea of using rizz (if you could even call it that, yuck) to assimilate Birdflight ever occurred to him. He went straight to “she’s a problem. Let’s just kill her and be done with it”

Even without that, he’s still done PLENTY to deserve five huge “YOU SUCK” stickers from the founders at his trial. Like i said before.. do you have any idea how badly you have to fuck up for CLEAR SKY’S crashout on you to be justified?

Now now. Why would a tyrant ever lie?

Lakestar? Afraid of the woods? Oh, surely never. The woods are definitely not a harrowing weapon beyond earthly comprehension that she feared every single waking moment of her life. :)

Anyway there was a reason Redstar chose her method of assassination the way she did.
