As I lay dreaming in at the dentist’s, getting my teeth cleaned a few months ago, I actually did not expect those dreams to materialize so quickly. The topic of my reverie was what the dental assistant was telling her captive audience, which was me. She said that her and her husband try not to go to the grocery store in the summer because they eat from their garden and he catches fish. I told Randy and we got excited.

Fast forward, here is Randy this morning.

He’s been learning how to fly fish. This was only his second time out on Mill Lake. A few hours later, look at what was on our table for lunch.

I didn’t grow the asparagus in our garden. HOWEVER, I did add some fresh thyme and parsley from our balcony garden into the quinoa that was served with this. I think we’re getting close!
