Hey all, sorry to be a bother, but we might be leaving the country soon for safety and to live with some folks we know who might also be leaving the country. Even if we don’t, having a copy of our birth certificate and a passport would be really handy. Problem is, they’re expensive. If we don’t wanna fill out a paper form and send it in with a copy of photo ID and a check or money order, it’ll be $48 altogether for just the birth certificate. (If we do, it’s cheaper, but also harder to actually pull off, what with needing to get a money order or check, fill it out, have it printed, etc.)
And the passport fees on top of that are.. yeesh. With our current credit/financing debt and lowered income, it’s not something we can easily afford on our own. If you can help out, that’d be great.
(Girlfriend has what she figures is enough for a computer now, if you were keeping track of that.)
