LIRR Adds Extra Trains, Alcohol Ban for St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Alcohol will be banned on Long Island Rail Road trains for 24 hours starting Tuesday at 5 a.m., the Metropolitan Transportation Authority said Monday.
The ban applies to all LIRR and Metro-North trains and stations.
