I booked a one-way ticket to Jupiter to help my sister and say goodbye to my dad.
The past couple of weeks have been really hard for her. Dad is in and out of consciousness and getting out of bed in the middle of the night. At 2:00 a.m. this morning, my sister went to check on him and his bedroom door was shut. She couldn’t open it because he fell and wedged himself between the dresser and the door.
Thankfully she was able to get in, but she had to wake up her husband to help get Dad back into bed.
These are the kinds of things I’m hoping to help with. She and her husband both work full-time jobs and are up at all hours of the night with caretaking responsibilities. It’s exhausting.
So here I am packing and trying to mentally prepare myself to watch my father die while also dealing with our unresolved issues… all while managing the stress of losing a 27-year career.
Somehow life’s biggest moments decided to arrive at the exact same time.
Right now I feel like I’m floating around in outer space with no direction or purpose which isn’t great for a control freak like me.
Last night I curled up in the fetal position on my bed and cried my fucking eyes out. The kind of cry that makes you feel like your body is turning inside out. My pillow was soaked with tears, sweat, and everything grief wrings out of you when it breaks through.
So tomorrow I get on a plane. A one way ticket to Jupiter.

Now, I feel lighter. Energy flows better. Also, it’s easier for me to put myself in the joyful state.

Jupiter is direct! Time to find our footing!
After months of retrograde motion, Jupiter—the planet of growth, belief, and expansion—is finally moving forward again! Hurray! Since November 11, it seems like our focus seems moving inwards, looking at our thoughts and emotions, our foundations: our belief systems, our emotional wisdom, and our sense of belonging.
The review has been deeply personal. We’ve been forced to look at the very architecture of our lives—our security, our families, and the emotional environments we build around us. I feel deeply that before we can discuss moving forward, we must acknowledge and honor what has already changed.

While Jupiter was in retrograde, growth wasn’t loud or external; it was a quiet, internal deepening. Now that it’s going direct, the expansion of our “aura"—how we show up in the world—begins to reach outward once more.
A Gradual Shift
This won’t be a sudden wild fire movement. The shift is slow, like a train pulling away from a station in its initial phase. Right now, the emphasis isn’t on rushing; it’s on acknowledging how much we’ve changed and how much more will come.
I do think there is a supportive energy building around us—a sense of intuition meeting a broader perspective. It’s like a Wi-Fi signal finally reaching further than it once could. We are seeking meaning, truth, and new possibilities. If we listen, our hearts and our horizons are beginning to align in a beautiful way.
Clarity Through the Fog
If we are willing to do the work, we find that the uncertainty of the past few months finally makes sense when viewed through this wider lens.
This momentum is boosted by the Saturn and Neptune pairing, which brings emotional clarity—sometimes through inspiration, sometimes through the sting of disappointment. Together, they help us distinguish between what is real and what is merely a projection. Meanwhile, as Venus maneuvers subtle shifts in how we act on what we love, she clarifies our desires while Jupiter restores our faith in what is possible.
The Path Ahead
All said, the vibe of the direct movement isn’t about rushing into the madness; it’s about orienting ourselves. I’ve started looking at the long view. What felt like "limbo” for the past few months is now revealing its purpose, transforming uncertainty into a clear, emerging path.
I am acknowledging that these first steps are coming from emotional alignment rather than external forces. We move forward as soon as we feel stable enough to stand on our own two legs, secure in who we have become.
I am both excited and a little apprehensive about this next chapter. If you have been feeling this same shift, know that you aren’t alone in this grand cosmic scheme.
