This was a pretty cool design to make, and rather challenging to make the rig for, but I’m satisfied with the end result.

About the flashbacks
personally i think someone was driving him to a place, not jax driving.
However if it is whats im seeing from some posts (maybe jax was driving crazy or drunk, or something and hirt someone) heres a thought:
Jax didnt preas the button by accident, or just because he’s lonely. He pressed the button cuz he couldnt face the consequences of whatever happened irl.

xx_jac_xx the hax0r no dictator is safe, btw he lives in the future like earth year 2500 or whatever the future laptop has a retro design and it’s completely see-thru, also when typing little tiny holograms sorta float out of the screen and disappear into the air after a time. the entire internet is saved onto it as well, the entire. internet. for haxx1ng. it’s saved onto a little cassette. because the cloud is evil
ok to elaborate how future internet works: every computer/similar device has the entire internet saved on it. so no matter where you go in space you have the most recently saved internet. you can update when you hit a spaceport/planet since there’s vast areas that wifi can’t really reach ok bye. jac also has the old net as well basically like internet archive for everything that’s ever existed online ok bye

it feels like fall today. made me think of when we all went to the graveyard and you had to hold em’s hand because she was scared.
you were never scared. not even when we went to that dark sky park and i’m pretty sure we almost died that night.
maybe we did.

Drop the Archetype and Move on
okay extra part time!
i actually suck at explaining things so there’s some dialogue in this (take this as your spoiler warning for the “Save the Oasis” comic that i will eventually finish of Stella)
the mask is a decorative piece in Stella’s room that she secretly plans to use when her fox features fade as she gets older. since the little village is so against wolves; she’s afraid she’ll be stripped of her role if her wolf-like features come through.
her excuse for wearing the mask would be “oh KeKe makes me wear it so my face scar heals properly.”
1 - KeKe, an NPC healer, did not say that
2 - there is no face scar
on the second day of this adventure, Jax goes to Stella’s room to chat (after he had his talk with Kinger moment). this happens:
“so you had your talk with Kinger eh?” - S
“yeah.” - J
“and how’d that go?” - S
“why do you care?” - J
“because you wouldn’t be coming in here if you didn’t want to talk about something. so either spill it or get out.” - S
“how do i make a difference in here… after all i’ve done?” - J
“drop your archetype and then we’ll talk about that.” - S
Stella leaves Jax in her room alone. He notices the mask on the wall and realizes to drop his archetype, he’d have to make a new one… and that new one was to end the adventure early-
take out the two predators of foxes- the hyena and the golden eagle NPCs, Heaven and Serena

The inconvenience of having to pick Jac up after sundown is irritating, but Lara’s not letting that get to her very much. It’s been ages since she’s actually sat down and chatted with the poor girl, so she’s consensually kidnapping her and taking her to some of the houses that she’d looked at. There’s already one in mind that she’s pretty sure of but - well, it’s an excuse more than anything.
When they pull up to the first place, more classical than she really likes - “It’s open, so we can go around and walk and check it out. This is ranked number three.” She gestures for Jac to lead the way into the massive foyer - still too put together and bright for her. It’s also smack dab in the middle of the suburbs. Not her thing, either.
“All the places I’ve looked at have a finished basement or the option for one - I figure you could have that be your own space, if you want - otherwise, you could take one of the rooms.”

guys last episode pomni said that maybe doing what Jax is doing(depersonalizing himself and everyone around him) is what leads to abstraction
and it’s literally called ABSTRACTION
Aka something non concrete, or unspecific. Like a person’s identity
