My weakness for blondes definitely started when my history teacher made us watch Dunkirk in class, and 14 year old me laid eyes on young Jack Lowden as Collins. Like damn, in his RAF uniform and his casual “afternoon” after he just crashed into the ocean

i was listening to Harry Styles’ Adore You and while thinking about how he was in Dunkirk, i had this random thought, “what if Christopher Nolan’s daughter was a One Direction fan back then?”
yea, i went from thinking how the music video of Adore You visually feels like the bleak, seaside scenes of Dunkirk - to this random thought of Flora Nolan, Christopher Nolan’s eldest child, being a teenage girl at the time the movie was filmed (I’m a year or two older than her) - what if she was a fan, like, what would her questions to her dad about working with Harry Styles be? Would she have asked to meet Harry on set there on the shores of Dunkirk? And I know the Nolan kids get to visit their dad and mom’s workplaces (Nolan’s wife Emma Thomas is his producer, too), so how would that have looked like?
bruh just imagine… you’re a Directioner and your dad is suddenly working with one of the bandmates you’ve been crazy about 😭😭 like, who would her favorite member be?? what if it was Harry???? how would she have reacted to the news at the dinner table that evening, like, Chris going “Hey, guess what- a guy from One Direction is gonna be in our movie” “who?!!?!!” “guess who” “which one, Dad?!!!” “it’s that bloke called Harry Styles” “!!!!…*dies in shock*”

I took a non-stop fleet of small boats to evacuate the British soldiers across the North Sea.
In Christopher Nolan’s movie “Dunkirk”, commander Bolton (played by Kenneth Branagh) oversees the operation.
In real life, there was no commander Bolton: Admiral William Tenant organized the exodus - not from the beach in Dunkirk (France) but from his HQ in the nearby town Veurne (Belgium).
Hans Zimmer wrote the electronic music.
