i am very much converted to the idea of imagining the birth of deities to represent the imposition of rigid social/cosmic hierarchies upon all that exists. in this sense all deities are truly one, i don’t think i ever believed otherwise but this metaphysics allows me to be on much clearer ground when using polytheism as a tool
So, I will usually be the first to call bullshit when it comes to receiving dreams or answers from gods (being raised Christian will do that to you), but I had a dream last night that felt like it was from Yinepu himself, and now the rational part of my brain that doesn’t believe in gods is fighting with the part of my brain that wants so badly to believe that he’s calling to me.
Here are things acceptable everywhere else in the universe and multiverse but humans love to act like a shitty hateful narcissistic ragebitch about:
Homosexuality
Everywhere else: So normally humans and lower species are the only ones heterosexual. Meaning your stupid straight asses are actually outnumbered lmao.
Incest
Everywhere else: No other species in the universe and multiverse has biological incest problems. Laws exist on certain things but lol incest ain’t a problem.
Sex
Everywhere else: Acceptable and a normal thing. Humans cannot become gods without the help of one, capable of controlling another of their kind’s status. Mostly every Deity lacks any real internal conflict but that is heavily debated upon.

Beings who’ve drawn infinite scales of universes stretching far throughout our own. They are life’s beginning and its end, inhabit intangible figures unlike those naturally born with it. Creators can shapeshift, able to materialize whatever their heart so desires.
Creators almost never interact with their universe in order to maintain balance. They wouldn’t want us puny creatures to discover their existence now.

These people serve less powerful in comparison with much other varieties, the only things seemingly possible for them to create being minor pocket dimensions and smaller lifeforms. Individuals who are granted chances of godhood can effortlessly walk through the ranks if given permission. Deities barely throw such opportunities around so it’s an incredible feature.
Gods can be stripped of their divinity, however a tiny portion of it remains alongside their appearance. They often have unnatural eye colors, hair or skin, looking absolutely terrifying when putting it bluntly.

Demigods are either born between a Deity and another worldly being’s relation, acting more of as their ‘offspring’ so to speak. For many cases, the likelihood of this ending well for both parties are rather low. They seem like regular people without the drawback of their abilities given away yet a Demi’s skills are much lower than a Creator’s.
They share similarly abnormal characteristics though this is an uncommon occurrence, mainly attributing key traits from their non-deity parent. It’s known for a Demi to be born with much power yet that can be a major detriment to their health. Countering this, it slowly becomes a glowing tattoo that traps their energy inside a certain limb.
Demigods have a particular weakness: if the certain tattooed part is destroyed, a significant amount of their power is lost. Because of how tightly isolated Demis are, they lack frequent social awareness or morality.

It’s a festival to honor Lord Boreas (the God of the North Wind/Winter)
Winter time (when the cold north wind is strongest)
It’s probably around December/January
Today, people might celebrate it on the Winter Solstice or during the first big snowstorm

- Pouring out drinks (wine, water, honey) as offerings
- Burning incense (pine, mint, or other “cold-smelling” scents)
- Praying to thank Boreas for protection
- Giving food (bread, grains, cakes)

I might make a series and write a few short stories about a deity of death, the idea is death doesn’t have a set personality or look to them, depending on the person death can look different or act different, to a normal person who fears the afterlife death could seem horrifying but a suicidal person death might seem like a merciful person and beautiful since they see death as mercy so I’ll write the story of a few people and how they all meet their eventual death and during this story I’ll explore on how they view death and when death comes to take them to the afterlife I’ll write how death looks to them?? I think this is peak idea
Of course! Essentially it’s a three day festival, roughly meaning “the flower festival”. It’s supposed to celebrate the beginning of spring and jar-opening of the old fermented wines back then. Each day is reserved for a different activity.

Just a recap of the event that happened on Chinese New Year Eve (年除夕) as I didn’t have the time to edit the photographs and upload them here sooner. Anyway, we started with an offerings and prayer 🙏 to the deities and ancestors. It was still drizzling outside as I made my way under an umbrella with the Joss Paper (金纸) or Hell Money (冥钞) to the bin downstairs. In Singapore, local authorities installed large, designated metal containers in neighbourhoods for safe burning of paper offerings.
Fa Gao (发糕), often referred to as Chinese Prosperity Cake 🧁 or Fortune Cake, is a traditional steamed cake popular during Chinese New Year and for ceremonial offerings. Known for its unique, “bloomed” or split-top appearance, it is a symbol of wealth, growth, and good fortune.
Nian Gao (年糕), translated as Year Cake or Chinese New Year’s Cake is a sticky, sweet delicacy made from glutinous rice flour 🌾 and brown sugar. It is a traditional staple food consumed during the Lunar New Year, symbolizing growth, progress, and rising prosperity in the coming year.
We bought a set of Roasted Duck (烧鸭), Roasted Chicken (烧鸡) and one kilogram of Roasted Pork (烧肉) though we didn’t use the chicken for the offering. The duck and chicken for offering to the deities must include both legs as it symbolises wholeness and integrity. These foods later became part of our reunion dinner which also included pork ribs & fish maw soup, broccoli stir-fry and this bowl of Cherry Tomatoes 🍅 & Japanese Cucumbers 🥒 slices. I know I didn’t have the pictures of the “feast” as mum didn’t really do the cooking due to advanced age and sis took up the mantle, but she can’t do complicated dishes.
Taiyohi is the kamanian goddess of sun and day, and Tsukinoyo’s sister. Energetic and charismatic.
Her popularity and admiration of sun loves, mostly from the so called Gods of Peace, almost became her corruption and the fall of her also beloved group of deities due to fake horrible rumours about them. If Tsukinoyo hadn’t confronted her and helped her realise……….

Ooh, I’m excited to answer this one. I haven’t talked about this yet on here—which is kind of funny because this is my second winter worshipping Frau Holle. Just as a little correction, I would classify my current relationship with Frau Holle as a devotional, worship-centric one. A bit of semantics, but I strive to be as accurate as possible.
This all began when I started venturing into folk witchcraft around 2022/23. I was learning about the folk practices of the regions my ancestors are from, and came across Frau Holle when I was reading about Germanic deities. I remember also coming across a couple German (and German-American) folks on TikTok who worked with and worshipped her, and I really resonated with their experiences.
It’s rare I feel such a strong resonance with a deity, and I usually take it as a sign to learn more and see where it takes me. I did this for several months and then I began to worship Frau Holle last winter (late 2024).
This was a very intentional decision on my part. At the time, I was working with my therapist to try and hate winter less. For context, I have MDD and struggle immensely with depression during winter, so it can be difficult not to write off the entire season. I was really trying to accept the season—turning inwards, allowing myself to rest, knitting, being gentle with myself, reading books set in frosty places, etc.
Frau Holle became a major part of this.
To me, she represents winter, yes, but she also has a warmth, strength, and comfort, in my experience. So, when I would have a bath, I would light an evergreen candle for her; I baked in devotion; I felt excited when it snowed. It sure didn’t cure my depression, but worshipping a winter deity was a deeply healing experience for me, and has really helped the way I view the season. Instead of being angry at the way my body and mind recoil at the change in seasons, I embrace it. I try and work with it, rather than push it away.

The World is a powerful card of creation and knowledge, or journeys completed and new chapters unfolding. The art of this card is kind of reminiscent of Venus being born from the sea, so it is possible that this is another emphasis that she has a presence in your life. Otherwise, The World is traditionally associated with Saturn. Any god or goddess of the Earth, such as Gaia or Isis, would be valid interpretations as well imo.
