I too had a similar reaction to Chopper when I first saw him.

I finally broke down and started watching the live action One Piece and holy god I feel so maternal towards Chopper

just sobbed over chopper’s backstory

My initial reaction to CGI cute little + deer forms Chopper: Aw cute :3 They did a good job

My reaction as time went on: … He’s got a weird little CGI mouth, huh? :/ Lotta teeth. Weird lip movements.

Okay Chopper has to be my favorite one piece character… I don’t care what anyone else thinks but her is adorable!

Chopper’s backstory was too sad, I needed a laugh

Chopper the blue nosed reindeer

Had a very smart brain too

And if you ever saw him

You might call him a racoon

All of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him names

And all the humans shot him

Cause they thought he’d eat their brains

Then one foggy Christmas eve

Hiriluk came to say

Chopper with your little blue nose

I can heal your bullet holes

Then all the strawhats loved him

As they shouted out with glee

Chopper the blue nosed reindeer

You’ll be the cure for all disease

Those last two episodes had me like… 🌸🏴‍☠️😭🌸
