The changes here are actually pretty good and makes sense. Stuff like Thief having gloves because hey, when stealing something, you don’t want to leave stuff like fingerprints behind. A mask to cover your face/identity when trying to sneak in. As actual references to typical RPG classes you see in tabletop or video games.
Void is the aspect of secrets , mystery , nothingness , and the unexplained .
The prince aspect is an active destroyer class and will directly destroy their aspect .
Typically , the void-bound value secrecy and appreciate the bliss of confusion and uncertainty. However , when paired with a destruction class , the particular void-bound may have a personality more akin to an intense light-bound .
From what we know about princes in the original homestuck , they aren’t inherently antagonistic . But they are usually unstable to some degree . The prince of void would loathe uncertainty and would do anything in their power to abolish it . For example , they may overhear a conversation where someone is expressing confusion over a certain topic . The prince of void would quickly insert themselves into the conversation to effectively dispel said person’s confusion . The disregard of social cues plus their “know-it-all” energy may be seen as disrespect and condescension , but the prince of void would’ve likely had good intentions.
As good as these intentions may be , however , I personally wouldn’t trust them with a secret . Due to their tendency to act like the inverse of their aspect , they’d likely be a blabbermouth and not know when to shut up about something , so it’d be very easy for them to spill your secret . They would also likely see secrecy as the ultimate betrayal .
“Why didn’t you tell me this ?” , “Why did you keep this from me?” would be common things said by a prince of void when in the predicament of being kept from a secret .
I also see a prince of void knowing a lot of general trivia and the kind of person who would love to seize the chance to go “well actually …” in a conversation .
In a session , the presence of a prince generally means that there is too much of the prince’s aspect . For example , in the alpha kids’ session, Dirk’s aspect is heart (the aspect for relationships and the self) and we all know how the relationship problems in that session are… :’)
So , if a prince of void is in your session , it means that there is too much uncertainty and there are too many secrets being kept in your session . Therefore , it’s safe to say that the prince would be very openly opposed to deception and secrecy .
If the session’s prince is powerful enough , they could clear up the confusion surrounding sburb itself . If a space player is struggling with the frog , the prince of void would be able to help clear their confusion and contribute to creating the frog . Or maybe they’d be very close to a page who is struggling with learning and becoming their aspect and would help them on their journey . I could definitely see them being friends with a page of light !
Alternatively , if the prince decided to destroy through void , they would likely spill very controversial secrets to the detriment of the others in their session .
When it comes to god tiering , the prince would be very likely to god tier with the intense drive of their class .
Overall , a prince of void would be a great co-player in a sburb session , despite their possibly overbearing personality .
Hello Homestuck fandom.
Hope is my favorite aspect. I’m not just saying that because I got classpected as a Page of Hope, either. I think there’s something so incredibly “real” about Hope as an aspect, that if you believe (and work hard enough), you have the power to manifest your hopes and dreams as a reality. As I’ve read Homestuck, I’ve been collecting a playlist of music that I personally find Hope-adjacent, agnostic to any characters who may represent Hope in the comic.
I sure do hope that this playlist doesn’t reveal any other fandoms I’m involved in. Jesus Christ, that’s a lot of The Protomen. There’s a lot of dumb, personal criteria here that applies that I’m more than happy to discuss, but one thing to remember when you’re listening is this: Hope is bold, it is foolish, loud and in your face. Hope is the Buttrock Aspect.

America is pretty good. Would even see him destroying relationship part of America as the Prince of Blood is when he claims independence from England/Britain. Same with Canada and Veneziano.
As for Germany, I thought he would be more of a Mind player. If we tie in his possibility of being Holy Roman Empire, Time Player could also work. And if going by his birthday, October 3rd, he would be a Libra sign. A Tealblood would be good for him too.
Sort of want Romano to also play a bit of parallel with Veneziano. Like how you have America and Canada as Breath/Life players. I could see him like a Blood player that though he isn’t the best at expressing his feelings, his relationships with others is still what helps him be he who is. Romano may not have the artistic talented as Grandpa Rome, but I think he’s able to endure struggles and pain for sake of others like his Grandpa has.

micheal ker… ofc was classpected using the Classpecting Applied document, there we use verbs to help people find the class, and the theme for the aspect. so if you are a thief or rogue maybe you Steal or Take be it for yourself or others, or if you are bound to the ideas of Speed and Time being very valuable youd be time bound. Of course everyone has their own ideas on what verb fits to what class, or what aspect has certain themes which is why the “regular english” version of the title is shown, kinda like how the taker of luck is vriskas title in a more “regular english” kinda way.

micheal ker… was a person who found the classpecting library and (oh fuck i should update that library) dmed me (which btw i appreciate a lot), that was the main reason the classpecting applied series started again a year after its creation. i had kinda done a bit too much of the aspect associations at once and someone dmed me about the classpecting library and classpecting applied.
soon after they asked to be interviewed which i obliged and we got to learn a few things about them, they are a 16 year old austrian, important info incase i am more biased to giving certain classes or aspect to certain groups. suprisingly they were pretty open, they spoke of how they often see themselves negatively, cowardly and unable to understand people literally(bad hearing) and socially. though on the flip side their good traits are about being there for people and sometimes being funny, especially their best tendency to be there for their family since they always there at their best and worst days, it feels like the minimum you could do. and of course they have other skills than that, they are a fast learner both socially and academically.
though they arent allways at their best, at their lowest moments, they anger at the worst possible moments or linger on their past, like their attention seeking middleschool self, who saw themselves as a victim cause they didnt really do 13 year old thing like others.
honestly they just want to life life without regrets, and that means not regretting things you didnt have the guts to do. and itd be better if we didnt have to worry about the future and had a comfortable and stable one, kinda like how garfield gets to eat and sleep all day, hates mondays and lives stress free.
i honestly think these quotes from micheal ker.. says it best (btw elysium means a sort of paradise) “

someone asked me on tiktok what their classpects’ deal and you couldnt possibly understand the happiness i felt explaining it to them. i dont talk at all about classes, aspects etc on here (or anywhere), but i did mention it in my tt intro that i do *have* an interest in the system so thats probably why theu asked….
“Aspect”
She hated that aspect of the job. The part that was supposed to put her job above all else. Was it really an aspect though? Or was it just something Americans expected out of their employees? She wanted to do more than work. She wanted to do arts and crafts. She wanted to learn guitar. She wanted to travel and read.
She sighed as she squared up the stack of paperwork and put it in the file cabinet. Why does work have to exist? Why is it such a necessary aspect to life? Now there’s an aspect.
She went back to her desk and sat down. She went through her email again and saw a new email about Friendsgiving. There was a $10 cover charge for the main plate and bringing a side plate to feed 8 people was encouraged.
Was that something she could do? If work was so miserable could she go out of her way to make it a more positive aspect of her life than it was? Wouldn’t that just make it more important to her in the process though? What was the right decision here? Is there even a right or wrong when it came to this?
Assuming a moral dilemma was her easy way of making decisions. If it was moral, she would do that one. Simple as that. However not every decision was a moral decision. Some decisions were just decisions, ones without ethical implications.
Fuck it then. She was going to try her best to make being at work less miserable. She was going to make… friends. There was only one problem with that.
She was unlikable.
Something she knew about herself since her youngest days. She had friends, people did like her, but the number of people that disliked her far outweighed the likers. However some people did like her so she had to cling onto that hope.
She started to debate what to cook though. Should she bring something traditional or something different? Something different would probably lead to more conversations. She was starting to get a little
maybe the (in universe) reason karkat got knight instead of page was that tavros was more passive than him and skaia was firm about the "no doubles" rule. out of universe hussie just loves to subvert expectations a *little* too much for having a healthy story. someone stop this madman
yeah, its just really lame. id argue that knight of void fits equius better too, because he hides under his mask of being a stern highblood obeying the hemospectrum while in practice not really following it, because he fell in love with aradia, obeyed karkat on everything and was very overprotective of nepeta, all while actually being very submissive himself
he wears glasses too like dave and latula since the other anon mentioned it. you can even say since knights were stated recently to "serve" their aspect or something, that equius always wanted to serve someone else higher than him
tavros if it weren't for john being an heir of breath already, i think would also fit that class too. because he wants to inherit rufios confidence so badly
i agree with the anon that said that karkat doesnt fit as a knight some days ago.
hes way too fucking passive for that class.
if hes meant to unite people or is a potential man, or if his entire character really depends on everything that he gets inherited from the signless or of the kindness/pity from other people, then he should have been an heir or a page.

him being "sooooooo emotionally intelligent with a BIG beautiful heart" and "inspirational" like the delusional hs team insists he is, is still only passive stuff.
also i think this is an insult to john, who id argue is better at both of those things.
karkats denizen is also abraxas, the same as jake, so page of blood karkat is better than davekat.
make HIM the target of sexual jokes about his shorts or fat ass instead of jake since thats all what his character has been boiled down to and he actually likes it.

I also found it fascinating and interesting. A unique kind of power system that I never seen before. And I understand what you mean. Some of the details for the other aspects and classpects were vague when the webcomic ended. Most of it was based on speculation. It wasn’t until recently that Hussie released the classes and the sides that are active/passive.
Some that I agree with and some I disagree with. Mileage may vary from person to person. But fans can still decide their own if they think what Hussie chosen sucks.
