Did more crafts this week than in the past monthsssss

Here are some crafts I did this week!!!

In order:

1. Hand sanitizer cover keychain (an owl)
2. Felt pin
3. kandi keychains
4. corner bookmark (little apple)
5. felt cover for my writing book (literally my fav thing omggg)

It was actually really fun to get back to crafting cus I didn’t do anything like this in so long:3 Also for the book cover it was like my third attempt…i tried painting it and gluing a cover but both failed and it was so ugly so I’m glad this worked. I actually wrote a bunch of pages bcus I was motivated by the pretty cover:DD

Anyways! I still have a little announcement to make, but really it isn’t anything deep. So I am a senior, right? Which means that college applications are honestly right around the corner, so like I need to lock in.

Now the problem is that I have so many current projects rn (fanfics, a fangan, drawing to do and my fashion blog to take care of) and also other things I do irl such as figure skating, sewing club, driving lessons and a bunch more stuff.

So ANYWAYSSS:DD idk why I made this way longer than it needs to be, but it’s just to say that if I told anyone I’d draw something for them, that I had a certain deadline to post something or any of the times when I said “I’ll do this tonight” “I’ll draw this soon” “I’ll post this today"…let’s just forget it and put any promises I made on hiatus for now. I’ll still post things, don’t get me wrong, but it’ll be less and more random stuff, whenever I have some time. One thing I’ll keep consistent though is the ikko’s closet series.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. I’ll be back with my true projects during winter break, for now you’ll live with random posts and no part 2s for anything I did.

So update!!

I’m sorry my "random posts” turned into a 95% hiatus lately. So I just did so many things offline that I was so tired to do anything art related, like I didn’t draw or write for like a month, but not here to complain about a burnout or anything, quite the contrary.

FUN NEWSSSSSSSS

i ACTUALLY DID ITTTTT! I got into my dream schoollll so yep not doing any art for a bit was so worth it. I also got a job for this summer #daycampcouselor. So like not being motivated for anything art related was so worth it.

But now I’m slowly trying to get back into having motivation for my projects and doing small arts and crafts / drawing / writing for myself and not any specific project just to get back into the art mindset and drop the mega study lock in mindset. I’m slowlyyy trying to get into my projects, but I also won’t say any deadlines or promises, learning to work at my pace and actually try to get things done.

So yeah, slowly coming back here! Ikko’s back everyone!!!

So I was about to draw the ref sheet for True Circus Kinger, but instead I just started redecorating my calculator and like 1h later I’m doneee

Now I’m all set to do some damn logarithm tomorrow.

I’ll go get started on trying to do a decent looking kinger ref sheet…

The only one I don’t have a design for in the main cast is the one winning rn…damn (dw I’ll respect the poll, only reason i don’t have design for him is bcus I don’t wanna do him dirty and fail his design, but I’ll try cus like democracy has spoken…idk how to design older men tho)

First reference sheet done! I actually had the reference done for everyone except kinger but none of the drawings looked quite right and for a reference I want them to actually fit my vision. So here is the first one. Who should I do next (in the people I already have designs for, so Kinger is last + all the abstracted characters in the story)

It didn’t turn out exactly like how I had it in mind, but it’s alrightt (also I read back through the older chapters…and why did I think it was smart to write at 1am during winter break…it’s so bad. Whenever I have time, I’ll do all the corrections I need cus the syntax is not working)

I was looking at the cast for TADC and I clicked on a picture of Sean Chiplock (Kinger’s VA) that was like for a con, with all the characters he voiced, and HUH!? Ishimaru, Monotaro?? Yuuki Mishima?? Dude I could have never guessed. (Well I mean it’s been like over a decade between the first and last role but still impressive)

Wowww is this me in a video, and I’m talking?? Now that’s a first here honestly.

After a million guitar phases, i really wanna actually learn to at least somewhat play it (be able to do some full songs and learn cords..eww) also this was like my worst shot..always when i film of course, like i was cooking before i filmed.

I’m going to a cat café for a French class presentation I have to do at the end of January (We have to do any like activity and review it to the class) and I used the occasion to finally go to one:3 Also I wanna eat food and pet kitties while saying it’s for educational purposes.

It’s almost chapter 10!!!! I’m so hyped!! (I’m the only one hyped, but it has to do with the hint: photo album. It’s such a fun idea to write that’s gonna be minimum 5 chapters or more, and I’m so hyped and even pre-wrote some parts.)

The things I do to make a sentence in my fanfic accurate…

I went to a paint mixer website to know if red and purple hairdye would make pink enough dye…this was for a single interaction between Jax and Zooble in my next chapter..it’s like not important to the plot in the slightest.

So ig this will be Zooble’s hair color after chapter 9 comes out (this chapter has pretty much nothing to do with dying hair except for this small interaction)

Here are the random things I watched during winter break…

-I went down the Alex Bale rabbit hole (don’t feed the muse is peak…and I also watched the 5h spongebob theory video before knowing don’t feed the muse was about that) I started with the high school musical theory, and it just didn’t stop after that.

-I started watching way too much Defunctland even though I don’t care about theme parks or anything like that (I started with kid city, and now I can’t stop, I love his narration…like objective narrator but still funny)

-A LOT of TADC reaction vids and analysis.

-I also finally started watching Danny Gonzalez, Eddy Burback, Ted Nivison (don’t know why I didn’t start before, like I was watching Kurtis, Chad chad, Jarvis, Film cooper, Funky Frog Bait, Layze and others so idk why I didn’t watch them too)

-I watched murder drones, but lowkey not finished and did not follow well so I’ll rewatch it later.

Yeah, so this is the type of things I watch when I write/draw…now y'all know what’s in the background of my fics and drawings.
