Probably an unpopular opinion, but Yoda speaking the way he does makes him seem far less wise. How do you speak a language practically fluently, but fail at basic grammar?

I’m sure there’s some lore somewhere I haven’t seen yet (only watched A New Hope and the prequels so far), but so far… it just makes him sound unintelligent. Which isn’t what his character is supposed to be, I know that much. So… outside of it becoming a meme and something to mock/make satire of… why the hell does Yoda speak like that?
