Hello everyone! Our September Scribbles was such a success that we wanted to do another event and what better time than the New Year to dust off those cobwebs and hopefully get those juices flowing?
The concept is the same as before:
- Every day will have an allocated prompt (a song lyric, quote or spicy line)
- The goal is to write a 300 word max snippet (including the prompt)
- You have until the end of the day in your own time zone to complete and submit
- If you don’t like the prompt for a certain day there are options to swap out
Rules / Guidelines:
- The final day for submissions is February First (end of the day in your time zone). Please be aware that any entries after this will not be added to our event masterlist.
- Regarding the event masterlist, we will link any users who have created their own scribbles masterlist. For anyone who has NOT created a masterlist we will link to their preferred profile (e.g. if you have a sideblog - we will confirm this with you)
- Please use the tag #JanuaryJumbleScribbles (NO SPACES) - so we can find your creations. Please do not use the tag after the event has ended.
- Please use the appropriate warnings for explicit / non con / triggers etc (NO INCEST, UNDERAGED, BESTIALITY OR NECROPHILIA)
- Any 18+ entries must be posted by an 18+ listed blog to be included
- There are no limits to the amount of submissions for a prompt. Do as many as you like, just remember to use the tag!
- The target is 300 words, but once again, should you exceed we will not scold/fine/ban you… as long as you deliver 🤭
- The possibilities are ENDLESS. So please feel free to submit whatever fandom, pairing or tone (smut, fluff or angst) you imagine!
- Please join as often or little as you like - no pressure at all!

so, i’ve never actually taken a part of a writing event, let alone one for a fandom im so involved in. but i’ve done two so far, and I do have plans for more. not planning a full bingo, just want to give scott more love.
Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up as to what our team mascots are going to be this year, and talk a little bit about the team dashboards we’ll be using!
Let’s start with the teams!
This year we will have 4 total teams. Each team member will work as an individual to finish prompts to earn team points. However, throughout the event, team activities will be introduced to gain additional team points. During these activities, you’ll work together with your teammates to come up with creative solutions!

Welcome emails will be sent out to each player at the end of the week to tell you what team you are apart of!
Team Dashboards
In the welcome email, players will also receive a link to their team dashboards. These dashboards give players an in real time view of all the points, activities, and bonus prompts that are available.
This is going to be a super duper handy reference sheet for all players, so be sure to familiarize yourself with it. Don’t hesitate to reach out to the mods if you have questions.
Here we’ll go over each tab of the dashboard.
Please Note: Players need only fill out the Community Points tab, all other tabs will be updated by the moderators and are for player’s reference only.
1. Antidotes Tab
a. Tells each player how many Antidotes they have available to them at any given time
b. Used to skip prompts and can be earned throughout the game
2. Bonus Points Tab
a. These occur from landing on “Special Spaces” throughout the board
b. Points can be positive or negative and affect the team’s total
3. Community Points Tab
a. The only tab players will need to fill out
b. Leaving comments/reblogs/or sharing other player’s fics earn you a point
c. Each player is responsible for keeping track of their community points
d. See Game Guide for more info
4. Submission Points Tab
a. Players can see how many points they’ve received for submitting a fic
b. These points are earned by submitting to the AO3 collection and the game submission form
5. Team Activity Tab
a. Players can see any team activities that are available and how many additional points they are worth
b. Announcements will be made on the discord channel for any actives that take place
6. Team Bonus Prompts Tab
a. Throughout the board there are 4 spaces that trigger team bonus prompts
b. This tab allows all team members to see the additional prompts and can earn additional points for completing them
c. Bonus Prompts do not require a reroll to move spaces upon completion from other team members
7. Team Total Points Tab
a. This tab auto calculates all the points earned from the above tabs, giving players an idea of their score at any given time
There are 8 days left to signup for the first SessKag Annual Falloween Event (SAFE)!
For those participants who have already entered the fray, expect welcome package emails between 27-30 August - with a second email containing your first prompt 1 Sep.
The welcome package will also include an invite to our discord server! So please be sure to join! This will give you a few days to become familiar with your teammates, ask the mods any questions you may have, and get a general understanding of the game.
We can’t wait to see you!
There are only 30 days left to sign up for the first ever SessKag Annual Falloween Event (SAFE). There has been an outpouring of interest from the community, so sign up while you can! We’ve designed the game play to have an increase of teams if need be! The more, the merrier - so don’t be shy!

Apa makna teman? Sebuah hubungan antar individu yang seperti apa teman itu? Lalu, apa di antara hubungan itu, kita mampu saling memiliki hingga hadir kata kehilangan?

Ini cerita singkat. Sangat singkat. Dan semoga bisa kupangkas menjadi begitu singkat.
Aku, raga yang jiwanya masih terlalu kecil untuk mengenal cinta, ya setidaknya begitulah menurutku. Karena itu, sejauh ini hubungan yang paling kental bagiku adalah pertemanan. Teman, bagi sebagian orang adalah salah satu harta berharga yang dimiliki, termasuk aku. Tapi, seperti wanita yang sedang asiknya menjalin hubungan dengan sang pujaan hati, lalu tiba-tiba tandas begitu saja, aku tengah patah.
Jika teman seperti sayap, maka aku punya seribu sayap lebih, tapi di antaranya, hubungan ragaku dengan salah satu sayapnya tengah cacat, tak sempurna. Mungkin kala itu aku bergurau terlalu jauh, hingga dengan tak sengaja, aku melukai sayap yang satu itu. Bila helai bulu adalah setiap tawa yang kami buat bersama, maka kali ini, helai-helai bulu itu tengah perlahan habis. Atau mungkin tak tersisa?
Dan bagian terakhir dari kisah yang aku punya, aku kehilangan, bukan, salah satu sayapku tengah patah. Menyisahkan kisah, tanpa kelanjutan tawa yang indah. Aku sedang ditinggal pergi, oleh sapaan yang hanya diberi oleh raga miliknya saja. Dan selayaknya raga yang kehilangan sayapnya, perlahan aku jatuh. Aku terluka. Dan dengan segala persangkaan yang tersisa, aku tahu dia juga merasakannya. Hingga akhir dari yang aku punya, hanya tentang mau tapi tak mampu, tentang hati yang kalah dari gengsi dan seberkas ego yang menguasai diri. Tentang perih, sedih yang dibungkus harap atas kisah yang sama lagi. Semoga.

setelah saya berdiskusi panjang (tapi nggak panjang-panjang amat sih), dengan @rubahlicik di whatsapp kemarin pagi tentang event menulis tumblrpeople yang sejak jauh-jauh hari sudah kami direncanakan, jadinya insyaaAllah mau dieksekusi sekarang. huehe.
gini rek. ceritanya kan kemarin mas cungkring bikin survey terkait doa-doa yang tidak terkabul gitu dan yang berpastisipasi lumayan banyak tuh. about that, beliau jadi punya ide buat bikin:
semacam kesedihan yang paling nyakitin yang pernah ada dalam hidup beserta alasan kenapa seseorang tetap melanjutkan hidup. sebab, tujuan event ini memang mau nunjukin ke orang-orang bahwa: gapapa merasa sedih. tapi sedihnya nggak bikin kita lemah.
well, bebas sih kesedihannya mau diluapkan dalam bentuk apa. apa saja boleh. boleh artwork, boleh puisi kesedihan, boleh cerita berhikmah, boleh quote doang juga gapapa. yang penting sedihnya tersampaikan.
jadi nanti endingnya seseorang akan tetap menerima kesedihannya dan menyadari bahwa life must go on. gitu~
so, menulis barengnya disepakati seperti ini:
1. make your story as creative as possible
2. you can write it in english or indonesian
3. feel free to overflowing your sadness in form of artwork, poem, narrative story, quote etc (baiknya jangan cerpen)

the first is a thanksgiving word crawl event. I’m setting up a word crawl in the NaNoWriMo forums for y’all to do throughout the day, based around some Thanksgiving themes. They’re small enough chunks that you should be able to write them throughout the day and big enough that you can get some serious words down on paper.

Salam.
Ucapan saat pertama kali bertemu dan tuturan terakhir kali sebelum berpisah.
Untuk sekarang, saya memilih yang kedua. Saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih sebagai salam perpisahan untuk mereka yang terlibat selama 30 hari kebelakang.
Pertama, kepada Admin Rahasia, saya haturkan salam rindu dan sayang. Terima kasih untuk event mengesankan ini. Terima kasih pula untuk tema-tema tulisan yang ditentukan di beberapa hari. Dan terima kasih untuk tetap konsisten menjadi makhluk misterius karena tak mau memperkenalkan diri. Semoga lain waktu kita bisa berinteraksi lagi.
Lalu, kepada teman-teman sesama pencerita. Salam perjuangan mungkin tepat untuk dikatakan. Terima kasih telah membagi cerita kalian; pengalaman, harapan atau kenangan. Terima kasih telah menjadi rekan menulis yang membuat saya tidak merasa sendirian.
