Moments of today. 3.14.26

  • A late winterlike day, and it felt like a nice Saturday.
  • A helpful and interesting chemistry course review.
  • I had some good interactions today, and I initiated one too at the course review and it felt good.
  • I spent time in the library and it was nice. The way the light filtered in the windows was also nice.
  • I met up with my friend this evening and had a nice time.
  • I felt good while doing a full-body heavier lifting, speed training, and conditioning circuits workout tonight.
  • Working on study guides, course outlines, a paper and bibliography, another paper, reviewing, and working on RA tasks.

Moments of today. 3.13.26

  • The blue sky was nice through my window this morning.
  • Helpful review classes today.
  • It was nice going to Commons with my friend from roman discourse between reviews. I also had other good interactions with classmates, and saw one from last term in the dining room, and it was nice to chat.
  • Nice, boosting and encouraging moments of connection.
  • I had a good time meeting up with my friend.
  • A nighttime heavier lifting lower-body, endurance training, and conditioning workout. I felt good and with a flow in my lifts.
  • Reading and reviewing for a course review tomorrow, working on course outlines, and working on my international econ paper and bibliography.

Moments of today. 3.12.26

  • Winter asserted itself today with light snow and colder air. The snow didn’t accumulate, but it was nice to see it fall.
  • An interesting CLST seminar about the language of Euripides and Athens. I also had an RA meeting and feel like I got good comments from my professor.
  • I felt an openness today, and had some good interactions. I’m also grateful that I was made to see I’m on a flow now.
  • Nice moments of connection and encouragement.
  • I met up with my friend and had a nice time.
  • I did a workout of heavier lifting upper-body circuits, power training circuits, and conditioning. I felt good and did some drop sets. I also had an interaction at the gym.
  • Organizing class notes and outlining, working on my bibliography, my classical econ paper, reading, working on a problem set, my chem lab report, and RA tasks.

Moments of today. 2.12.26

  • The morning sun caught snowflakes in the wind, like bursts of light through the air.
  • My classes were good today, and I got my chemistry exam grade. I feel like I did okay, and I got good feedback about understanding the concepts. I missed a couple of things that I wish I hadn’t, but I’m hopeful I can get better. And hearing that I got a good grade felt really good.
  • A really interesting CLST seminar about Oeconomicus. I was glad to see my RA professor there. I also had a good interaction with a classmate from last term.
  • The way the light looked fading against the snow outside T after the seminar.
  • Boosting and encouraging moments of connection.
  • I met up with a friend this evening and had a good time.
  • A lower-body, power training, and conditioning workout tonight. I did heavier lifting and some squats and deadlifts drop sets.
  • Reading and assignments for classes, working on my chem lab report, working on a response memo, and my research paper proposal.

Moments of today. 2.11.26

  • It was snowing when I woke up and it was nice seeing it on the trees and around campus.
  • Chem class and lab were interesting today about temperature dependence and spontaneity. Liberty and historical causation in roman discourse. My professor is nice and has a good way of explaining. An interesting lecture and discussion of monetary policies in open economies in international econ.
  • I got something to drink with my friend from roman discourse and it was nice. I also had other good interactions today around classes and in the dining room.
  • I did an upper-body heavier lifting workout with speed training and conditioning tonight and it felt good.
  • Reading and working on my lab notes and report for chem class and lab, reading and translating Livy, working on a response memo and my research essay proposal for classical econ, finished and submitted a deliverable for my RA work, and reading for international econ.

Moments of today. 2.10.26

  • I woke up feeling good, and I’m going to bed feeling like it’s been a good day.
  • I had my classical econ exam today and feel like it was maybe okay, even if challenging in parts. I just hope I did okay. I also had an RA meeting and feel like I got some good feedback on my work.
  • I had good interactions with classmates and with another RA. My classmate talked with me after our exam and we commented on it. I also had a good interaction at the gym tonight.
  • Good and encouraging moments of connection. Hearing that I’m doing good and things are going well, and to enjoy everything, was boosting.
  • I met up with my friend and had a nice time.
  • A full-body heavier lifting, endurance training, and conditioning workout tonight felt good. I felt a flow in my lifts and did some drop sets.
  • The snow tonight gives the campus a nice feeling, and it felt good walking back to my room in it. There was also some activity around campus.
  • Reading and working on problems for chem, working on my lab report, my research essay proposal for classical econ, a Latin translation, and international econ.

Moments of today. 1.13.26

  • A grey, woolen sky this morning when I woke up looked nice against the trees.
  • My classes were good today. The discussion and demonstration of oikos as economic units, and a close reading of Oeconomicus was interesting in classical econ. Latin was also interesting today. We did an in class exercise and I got paired up with my friend again, which was nice.
  • I feel like I have good classes this term, even if I’m still trying to grasp some of the topics that are maybe a little unfamiliar.
  • An interesting informational meeting about internships and research.
  • I saw a classmate in Commons and we ended up chatting for a bit. I also had some other good interactions during classes and in the library.
  • I felt strong doing my full-body lifting and speed workout tonight. It felt good and satisfying.
  • Reading for chem and international econ, Sallustius, Xenophon, working on a response memo, and working on case studies for RA tasks.

Moments of today. 1.12.26

  • Waking up to snow on my window from overnight was nice.
  • I feel like classes were good today. I got called on in international econ and feel like I maybe did okay, I hope. My chem professor explained some concepts in a way that I maybe understand. An interesting lecture and discussion in Latin about cataline prose as rhetorical construct.
  • After Latin, I went to get something to drink with my friend in class and we hung out for a bit. I feel like I had other good interactions with classmates today.
  • A helpful office hours appointment and my professor was nice.
  • A nighttime lower-body lifting and endurance workout was good. I felt strong and good with my sets. I also had an interaction at the gym.
  • Studying and reading for classes, working on a translation, problem sets, and a response memo.
  • I’m going to bed feeling like it’s been a good day and start to the week.

  • The fog this morning looked interesting on the trees, and it was nice the way the light was kind of bright on the wet surfaces.
  • Reading in C for a while was nice.
  • I met up with my friend this afternoon and it was nice hanging out. I also happened to see a classmate in Commons and we chatted for a bit. It was also nice messaging with Hannah.
  • I took another run today, this time through campus and into town, and it felt good.
  • I did an upper-body lifting and power training workout tonight. I felt good and with a flow in my lifts and I added some drop sets.
  • Reading for classes, working on questions, a short response, and a problem set.
  • I feel like it’s been a good first week of the term, with good interactions, with friends, studying, RA tasks, and good workouts. January seems to be going by a little fast, so I just want to make the most of each day.

  • The way the morning light moved across my wall and ceiling as I woke up while feeling love.
  • Reading and doing research in the library felt nice.
  • February’s presence was felt in the cold air, but the sunlight and its length whispered spring.
  • I met up with my classmate for some time this afternoon. I felt open and loose and I hope conveyed it. It felt like a nice time and a good interaction.
  • A satisfying, upper-body workout tonight.
