A Whitefall fan animatic! This is Jarl Isyerim, leader of the Caedric wolves. After his son was killed, he wiped out the entire species of Joundra wolves. We didn’t really see him much in the series yet, but he will appear more in the future episodes for sure. He’s… scary. You can watch the series on youtube by the way, it’s fantastic.

,,You have gone too soon, old friend. I never got to tell you how much you really meant to me. I may, not remember much of how you looked back then, but I remember how you looked when we last met. I… No. I’ll save it for when we meet again, on the other side. I’ll tell it all to you then.”

Good God we love these two. They’re so sad but we love them. Also Lepqa’s all white bc. She’s supposed to be a memory & also kinda like a ghost here?? You know what we mean. Point is we wanted to state that she’s not actually a pure white wolf.

Don’t worry, though. If such a thing exists in the world of Whitefall, we’re pretty sure these two are very much enjoying their afterlife together.

This piece was also very experimental. Experimental in terms that we used a lot of brushes we keep around but rarely ever actually use. Had fun playing around with them, tough.

I happened to stumble upon an animated wolf series (I guess you could call it) on YT by the title of Whitefall, which currently has 6 episodes with the 7th about to be released, and since I enjoyed that more than I thought… does anyone know similar series with a story/ storytelling that’s at least equally good? I’ve found 2-3 others so far but they either didn’t hold my attention throughout the first episode or in the case of AzureHowl Reborn I’m not sure yet if I like it (definitely more blood and cruelty than I strictly care for and it’s just a single episode, but I like the art and animation).

Any recommendations? 👀 At this point I guess I’m looking mostly for canine species rather than lions, deer, or whatever else there may be, but if the story is really good I’ll give anything a try.

The TWW commic itself has been cancelled a while back, but a more modern iteration of the story simply titled Whitefall is currently ongoing on the creator’s YouTube channel! I simply drew Tarlo for old time’s sake since he was my favorite character out of the old draft.

The original Stolen Hope was an animated webseries on YouTube, but it has recently (as in 2021) been rebooted as an animatic-style webseries. The original was pretty damn good to me, but the reboot definitely has more consistent and better character writing, and the art style has obviously improved a ton.
