Misty Temple

Hello everyone,

When I went to visit this temple, I saw something marvelous. Every so often the whole area would fill with gentle mists. It was beautiful and made the hot day much easier to bear.

Also… both me and that friend I was travelling with, it reminded us of home.

In a moonlit glade where shadows twist and writhe like serpents, a gnarled tree stands sentinel, its roots clawing hungrily at the earth, yearning for the blood of the unwary. Mist coils around its limbs, obscuring the visage of grim figures that dangle grotesquely among the branches, faces frozen in eternal screams, their eyes hollow voids that beckon with an insidious promise of salvation. The air is thick with the scent of decay, a sweet, suffocating aroma that whispers secrets of forgotten nightmares, while the soft rustle of leaves echoes like the distant laughter of lost souls. As you step closer, the ground whispers beneath your feet, alive with the muffled beat of a thousand hearts, each thudding in rhythm with a mounting dread, ensnaring you in the palpable feeling of being hunted—not by a beast, but by something far more sinister, something that lurks just beyond the veil of reality, watching, waiting, and yearning for your surrender.

The mistiness under the early morning light as I travelled to work for the start of my shift brought tranquillity to the start of my day.

As I made my way to work, I couldn’t help but notice that it was misty during the early hours of the morning as the streetlights emphasised the hazy travel path ahead.
