Uma Verse - Cyrian

In this verse, Cyrian was born an Uma and has no connection to any eldritch being, nor is he made out of stone and thus lacks his claws and face marking. He’s 34 at the latest point in his story.
Young and full of potential, he was to become the next big star. Merch, interviews, and a face that would become the face of this sport. That’s what people in the rich circle he was born in wanted of him, with little regard of what he actually wanted. What was important was success, and any failure was met with harsh punishment from his trainer. Of course, the people in that circle would never encourage abuse, but some more unique techniques would be required for Cyrian to achieve the pure excellence that was demanded of him.
One day however, he got sick of such abuse; nobody ever listening to what he wanted or needed. In retaliation to another set of ‘deserved punishment’ after coming second to a race - which was only because of pain caused by similar punishments - he would kill his trainer and run away at a young age.
A good number of years later, in which he had a gender changing surgery, found himself the mask he currently wears and has created this new persona, he would come back into the public eye as Cyrian Zahir.
To hide his ears, he styles his hair to be slightly longer and wears his deer skull mask ontop of his head when in public. To hide his tail he wears a special harness, which both keeps his tail tucked and adjust his posture some to help keep balance.
He would give this new name fame by becoming an excellent trainer. He would become known to push his trainees past their limits, but while rumours would paint him as a harsh and inflexible trainer he would never be abusive. However his association at the time with groups in the southern states of America, known for illegal betting rings, only reinforced this image. He would help five different trainees win state-wide contests, and even took one of these five to win a country-wide contests.
Despite his determined attitude and strict behaviour, he in fact was gently firm behind closed doors. Being an Uma himself he knew limits best, and the push was a gradual incline during private and often not official training sessions.
While in front of the press there are harsh words about failure and little happiness at success, he does make sure to praise improvement when cameras and journalists are not around.
In this time he continued to hide the fact he is an Uma, but does train by himself and has even done some test races late in the night. When he does train by himself he hides his face with a special mask, and doesn’t talk much.
