I need more people to plsy with the possibility of Vaelus having some slight problems due to her old injuries:

She’s missing half an ear! Her hearing might be impaired on one side (still better than a normal humans but bad for elf standards)

The eye with the magical scar over it is slightly brighter than the other (I just noticed this yesterday after looking at her art many times since they were revealed). Honestly I don’t know what to do with that yet but it’s a very interesting detail. Tbh it could also see better than the other eye or maybe her right one (the one with the regular scar) is the bad eye or smt but I need people to focus on it more in general.

Give Vaelus some love, she’s underrated

Looove the different group dynamics of the tables, it’s so funny to think about it

Like the schemers are active friends! Like obviously some relationships are stronger or more personal than others but they all trust each other, they all rely on each other and they all like each other (or they’re at least respectful) (from what we have seen at least, might change when we get theyir arc)

Then the soldiers are two seperate friend groups who are slowly starting to warm up to each other and merging AND THEN!

And then there are the seekers…

Who officially openly distrust each other. They all have wildly different opinions, worldviews and goals and Julien and Thaisha have now officially started a ‘when will they turn on us?’ watch for Occtis and Vaelus. They’re going to implode so bad I can’t wait to watch it (Thaelus divorce where vaelus gets custody of the baby (Occtis))

I love how Aabria is playing Thaisha. In the first episode, she seems very condescending towards Vaelus(crashing a funeral after all) giving the impression that her greiving over her dead Goddess 70 years ago was nothing compared to what the rest of them have to deal with as mortals… only for this vision of seeing Vaelus’s sister dying. Maybe I’m wrong, but from her reactions it made me think that she’s realizing that she lost a lot more than a goddess in that war… and her genuine “I’m So sorry” at realizing that loss is *chefs kiss*

Help with a Fanfic

Okay, this is gonna be esoteric as all get out, but it’s worth a shot.

So, I’m writing this fanfiction about the crew of Serenity (and Saffron), and The Mourners (The characters in Campaign Four of Critical Role) wind up in Godspell. It’s gonna play out like the musical, only with everyone except for Jesus and John the Baptist replaced with the aforementioned people.

Here’s my problem: I don’t know where to put the Mourners, song-wise. I know where the Serenity crew go, and I know a couple of The Mourners’ songs (they’re sharing songs) but I don’t know the others. It’s important that I sort it out now because it needs to be there for the first chapter (Prologue/Tower of Babble)

Here’s what I got so far (In order of philosophers in Tower of Babble):

River and Vaelus: “By My Side.”

Wash and Kattigan: “We Beseech Thee.”

Simon, Occtis, and Wiccander: “All Good Gifts.”

Zoe: “Day by Day.”

Saffron: “Bless the Lord.”

Jayne: “Light of the World.”

Inara and Murray: “Turn Back, O Man.”

Kaylee and Tyranny: “Learn Your Lessons Well.”

The question is, where do the rest go? I don’t know if there’s a big overlap between these three fandoms, or if I’m the only one, but this is really playing on my mind.
