Summary:
“Are you hitting on me?” Harvey asked bluntly, finally turning to look at Eddie with a pinched expression, his dissatisfaction clearly on display. “If you think I need a pity fuck, you’re talking to the wrong guy, Nygma.”
Hmm posting here, I guess. Been exploring Two Face/Harvey paired with Batman mainly, but Two Face and the Riddler have infiltrated my mind, too. May finish it, may not finish it, who knows, but have a snippet of an idea I’ve had for Twiddler.
❗️TW for implied drug use (consensual) and PTSD triggered by sexually charged touch below. Context being that Two Face is trying to let his walls down and let go for once, and Edward is more than happy to help. It’s… not going well.
[[MORE]]“Please,” Two Face pants, his knees spreading atop Edward’s lap as he trembles from the effort of keeping himself upright. “Please… please—“
Beg. Like a good little bitch, beg. Release control, let go of the one thing you ever managed to hold. Beg, you bastard, beg—beg—BEG!—
As soon as he feels his belt loosen and a cold, skinny hand reach inside to tug at the seam of his boxers, something snaps inside of his head. That knee-jerk reaction buried deep down, the gritty fear etched into his mind that caused and created Two Face in the first place, the sudden rush of fear as though it were something strange, something foreign, and then—
Two Face’s breath hitches in his throat, and all of a sudden, he feels unbearably nauseous. His skin goes cold and his face pales as he fumbles atop Edward’s lap, desperate to escape the sickening stench of smoke clouding the car and the closeness of Edward’s body to his. It feels revolting and repulsive, the mere thought of touching another human this way again, of being touched again, of letting himself become so vulnerable and so weak in such a dangerous headspace.
He needs air. He needs to get outside. Goddamnit, he’s going to be sick.
“Get out,” Two Face rasps suddenly, his chest heaving as he starts to panic. “Get out. Get out. Get OUT—“
Out of the 60,000 words in my twiddler fic ‘Away from the cold’ 'coffee’ officially makes up 100 of them.

Part 1 of Twiddler.
Summary:
Edward notices a friend of his needs some help, and in helping him gains a useful ally. Can he keep his own intrusive thoughts under control while they work together in close quarters?
I’ve updated this too 🗣📣
What dating Harv is like: Harvey has had past relationships, but Harv had only flings and one night stands. His first marriage came before the acid attack. Gilda viewed Harv as a setback to be overcome, despite Harv being very attached to her. Edward is Harv’s first serious romance and, therefore, both a guinea pig for his eccentricities and the apple of his eye. Ed gets unique insight into Harv’s softness and vulnerability and gets to see what he’s like when content and at ease.
Family history: Harvey keeps his childhood to himself, and most people that care about him can only guess what went on behind closed doors. Both he and Ed had awful fathers, but Ed is completely shut off about his past, refusing to acknowledge it even in the form of a riddle. Harvey has gradually opened up to encourage Eddie to do the same, with limited results. Every once in a while he’ll also just sit down, start ranting, and casually reveal absolutely devastating personal details.
How to game the system: Two-Face is erratic and unpredictable, but Ed has a better read on him than most. Ed excels at pattern recognition and enjoys mastering arbitrary rules. Within the parameters of random chance there are tendencies and preferences influenced by the ‘will’ of the coin. Edward can pretty reliably guess when something is half rather than two, when it’s 50-50 and when it’s double. He treats Harvey a bit like playing a complex board game with insider knowledge of the rules.
The seam: The boundary between Harv and Harvey’s skin gets itchy and a little sensitive . Two finds the feeling of being scratched and petted down the middle very soothing.
Prior to his injury, Harvey was completely committed to suppressing his Harv side, which at that point is an abstraction, not a realized person. He held himself to a rigid standard and compensated for his own dark subconscious by being ruthlessly hard on crime. His self-denial was pretty well internalized- he overworked, didn’t acknowledge his attraction to men or maintain any of his friendships (to keep from pining for Bruce Wayne) and tried to brute force his way to a conventional, by-the-book life, publicly and privately. This is not to say that these aspirations were fake- Harvey did genuinely want to be the midcentury hometown success story and Gotham’s beacon of justice. He just also wanted many other, confusing, conflicting, tantalizing things, so it was best to push it all down and let nothing slip through. He was tired and deeply unhappy and unable to admit it.
Since Harvey mostly focused on Gotham’s organized crime and did not often deal with Batman’s supercriminals, he would not have interacted much with Edward. He likely saw him in passing when Ed was getting processed through the legal system and maybe interrogated him in connection with mob cases. If Harvey had any feelings beyond contempt, disdain and anger (he did) he would have ignored them, gone home and had an inexplicably bad evening.
Edward knew something was up with Harvey almost instantly. Riddler trades in uncovering the slimy secrets of Gotham’s public figures, and can usually guess what kind of hypocrisy is at play. Harvey doesn’t have the usual skeletons in his closet, though. He has something weird, something deep, a unique riddle to untangle. If they had interacted more, Ed might have gleaned that Harvey had a full second personality and Harvey might possibly have actually killed him.
When Ed formally ‘met’ Two-Face for the first time, he was acting on a long-blossoming crush that finally materialized when Harvey came into his own, at least from Ed’s perspective.

lowkey only used batman forever ed in that first one bc i think hes fun to draw but whatev
I don’t ship twiddler but thanks to this dream I had, now I might.
Basically Two-Face has retired from villain life and moved to a different city, coincidentally the Riddler decided to do the same thing. You might think that since Two-Face decided to stray himself from Gotham, he wouldn’t want to be connected to anything from his villain days.
Since this is a dream it’s wacky and I’ll patch up the plot holes later but basically somehow they fall in love and it starts because “wouldn’t it be funny if we both pretended to be together”
I’ll sprinkle some ex BruHarvey but they’re more on a distant and platonic relationship now.
