tofu spinach stir fry

  • 1tb oil
  • ½ medium/large onion, diced
  • 16oz firm tofu, pressed & cubed
  • ¼tsp salt
  • ¼tsp pepper
  • 1tsp curry powder
  • ½tsp cumin
  • ¼tsp cayenne
  • ¼tsp chili powder
  • ½tsp coriander
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 10oz spinach, chopped
  • 2tb ketchup
  • ½tsp salt
  • ½tsp garlic powder
  • ¼c thick yogurt
  1. heat oil in a skillet on medium-high
  2. sauté onion until golden-brown
  3. add in the cubed tofu & cook until it is golden at the edges
  4. add in the spices listed in red, & cook about 1min to roast them
  5. add in spinach, ketchup, ½tsp salt, & garlic powder, & cook until the spinach doesn’t smell raw
  6. add in yogurt, stir around, & cook 3-4min more

i also tossed in some cauliflower, after the tofu was done but before adding the spinach ♡

Tofu Makhani

Hozzávalók
1 tömb extra kemény tofu, préselve, szárítva és darabokra törve
3 evőkanál szójaszósz
2 lime leve, kifacsarva
2/3 csésze kukoricakeményítő
Só és bors, a leírás szerint
6 evőkanál szőlőmagolaj
1 teáskanál köménymag
1 teáskanál koriandermag
1 teáskanál édesköménymag
1 teáskanál garam masala
½ teáskanál kurkuma
¼ teáskanál fahéj
¼ teáskanál chilipor
1 vöröshagyma, felkockázva
1 serrano chili, felkockázva
4 gerezd fokhagyma, reszelve
1 kb. 5 cm-es gyömbér, meghámozva és reszelve
1 nagy konzerv (720 g) zúzott paradicsom
¼ csésze vegán vaj
Főtt basmati rizs és frissen aprított koriander a tálaláshoz
Kesudió krém
1 csésze kesudió, egy éjszakán át vízben áztatva, vagy 20 perccel korábban forralva
2 csésze víz
1 evőkanál élesztő


Elkészítés

Készítse el előre a kesudió krémet (vagy használjon 2 csésze bolti növényi tejet a könnyebb elkészítés érdekében).

I made tofu from scratch and yesterday I made “eel”

It turned out so good! The bummer part was my rice cooker was dying and not really cooking the rice but it did steam my tofu correctly.

These tofu lettuce wraps with vegan Thai peanut dressing are a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The crispy tofu pairs perfectly with the refreshing crunch of lettuce, all tied together with the creamy and tangy Thai peanut dressing. It’s a quick and easy dish that’s sure to satisfy your cravings!

Ingredients: 1 block firm tofu, drained and pressed. 1 head iceberg or butter lettuce, leaves separated. ¼ cup peanut butter. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons maple syrup. 1 tablespoon lime juice. 1 teaspoon sriracha optional. 2 cloves garlic, minced. ¼ cup water. ¼ cup chopped peanuts for garnish. 2 green onions, thinly sliced for garnish. ¼ cup chopped cilantro for garnish.

Instructions: Cut the tofu into small cubes. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the tofu cubes. Cook until lightly browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, maple syrup, lime juice, sriracha if using, garlic, and water until smooth to make the dressing. To assemble the wraps, spoon some tofu onto each lettuce leaf, drizzle with the Thai peanut dressing, and sprinkle with chopped peanuts, green onions, and cilantro. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

I cant believe I dojt see people tpaking avout this on tumblr since its literally such a tumblr thing but theres a snake who has beef with Markiplier. Like I dont remeber the channel bit whenever this lady puts on Markiplier the snake Tofu will start rattling and strike at him.
