Cosy night in rewatching Wolf Hall on the Beeb. I’ve been waiting to see this again for some time since I’ve been reading Philippa Gregory’s Tudor novel series. It’s really helped me cement in my mind all of the characters involved in the rise and fall of Henry VIII and those who were brought down around him. And all of the tails surrounding his reign are fascinating (and a little bit scary). On a lighter note here’s a recent listing - Teeny weeny poppyseed heads collected from the field edges of our cottage garden have been carefully dried in a way the retains their 3 dimensional shape. They alongside beard moss, straw daisy and baby’s breath.
