Grian headcanon:

Grian, being a Watcher, the creator of the life series and the winner of third life, knew exactly how things were going to happen, and refused to get attached or feel anything for anyone, but Scar snuck his way into his heart with his Scar-like charm, and after he died, he’s colder than before. This is also unfortunately why he’s outlived all his teammates, because his detachment has kept him safer by removing his sentimentality. He started out alone in Secret Life because he never sought out a team, he only joined one when he was offered to by others, like in Limited Life with the Bad Boys, and later, the Nosy Neighbors. He wasn’t invited to join anyone’s team in the beginning episodes of Secret Life, but he got lonely, because birds naturally flock together, and that’s why the Roomies (Etho, Cleo, and Grian) became a thing.
