I need more Elena Gilbert centered fanfics out there. She is the MAIN CHARACTER

I despise Damon and loathe Delena. Stefan is fine but Stelena is bad. Why do people only like Elena when she is with a man? Why do people only view her as a REAL PERSON WITH EMOTIONS when they like her love interest????

The fandom has twisted a seventeen year old girl (”Girl” because she’s not even a legal adult in season one) into a doe-eyed, manipulative, grown woman, who loves tearing two brother apart.

She was a TEENAGE GIRL!!! She made mistakes and sometimes she can be selfish, but those are rare moments that the fandom has taken and run with.

Elena Gilbert is a very strong, kind, and all around soft character. I wish the fandom appreciated her more instead of the “misunderstood” villains.

Anyways, hope this reached the right people.

He was a twelve year old who never got old enough to be even a teen, and never really got over the mess of being turned, or losing the magic he’d only started getting a handle of.

He’s just an eternal child who was desperate to be seen as older.

“You can’t keep doing this!” Klaus snapped as he looked around the blood covered bar.
Aró leaned on the table as he dropped onto a chair as he wiped blood from his lips and his eyebrows raised. “Doing what? Acting on my nature?”
“This isn’t our nature, Aró.” Rebekah told him unimpressed.
“Of course it is!” He said. “I am the creature I was made. Just listen to the humans whispered stories.”
“They talk about Your horrors! You made yourself a monster.” Klaus hissed.
“No! You did!” He said back on his feet quickly. “You had to watch the wolves! You had to get our sister hurt! You are the one father is after!” He yelled. “You pretend you’re some saviour, or the patriarch. But because of you we were all Killed and Cursed and I am going to be a Child forever.” He said. His eyes flashed vampiric for just a second as he tried to keep himself in control. “Then you act like you have a right to order us around as you cling to control with yelling and blades, just like father did!”
Klaus stared at him in cold fury, Rebekahs eyes were wide in horror and the next moment the silver blade was in Aró’s heart and he gasped in pain. The anger fell away and he stared at his big brother wide eyed, betrayed.
Klaus moved a hand to the back of his hair, hushing him as if it he was calming a child who’d scraped their knee, not his brother who he’d stabbed in the heart and just caught him as he slumpt into another deathly dream with a vague wonder if he’d ever wake again.

AU / Fanfic idea for writers

Since I write fanfics for a different fandom, and my readers would probably eat me alive if they saw that I started yet another story without finishing the old ones, I wanted to share a small idea instead. Maybe someone will like it enough to actually turn it into a full story and see it through to the end.

What if Stefan didn’t die in the flames in the final episode?

What if the witches gathered their power and sent the former vampire back in time — to the moment before he ever met Elena, to the very first day he arrived in town — so he could prevent the mistakes of the past… or maybe the future?

He only gets one chance to fix everything. One chance to create the best possible future for everyone, and especially for Caroline. No matter how much of a martyr he tends to be, he has no intention of letting her cry because of him ever again.

He won’t stand in the way of his brother’s happiness with Elena, because his heart already belongs to someone else.

And this time, things will finally go the way they were meant to.

It genuinely confuses me how people call Katherine Pierce morally grey. She, according to what I remember, has never done anything for anyone solely with someone else’s best interest in mind. There was always something in it for her.

Am I the only one who thinks it would have made sense for Damon and Bonnie to get together? I mean, I still think about Delena as the endgame. BUT. Elena clearly told Damon, while she was asleep, that he needed to live his own life. Besides, practically everyone in the group has already dated someone’s ex. So I don’t even think she would have taken it badly? Because the Bonnie and Damon chemistry really deserved to be explored (since Kai was dead).

So fucked that none of her friends realized that Elena wasn’t Elena in season 5.
