Details about the Dinocons that I never made a separate post for and thus never talked about, GO!:
Skullbasher:
- Originally a human named Brick Killoc, he was a low-rate bruiser who paid for his alcoholism through bouncer work and general crime, was one of the few willing test subjects of the ‘Decepticon X’ program.
- He was promised power beyond his wildest dreams for his cooperation, and as far as he’s concerned he got all that and more.
- He renamed himself ‘Skullbasher’ to sound powerful, and was made the leader of the rest of the ‘Dinocons’ for his willingness to kowtow to the orders of Decepticon brass.
- Though more intelligent and well-spoken than the Dinobots themselves, Skullbasher is still not the brightest crayon in the box and follows Megatron only because the mech can take away Skullbasher’s newfound power just as easily as he gave it. Megatron is just another employer in need of a powerful lackey, and Skullbasher is more than happy to fit that bill.
Sailback:
- A former drug dealer named Rafael Lawrence, he’d been at the bottom of the ladder of power all his life, and was all too happy to trade up into a powerful Cybertronian form.
- Silver-tongued and devious, he’s the “brains” of the ‘Dinocon’ team…though its really not by much.
Don’t ask him any complicated math problems. - He has a taste for all things nasty and illegal, either doesn’t understand or just completely disregards the concept of ‘personal space’, and has trouble keeping his hands to himself among any gender or off of objects that don’t belong to him.
- Not quite as powerful as Skullbasher, Sailback submits to his authority as team leader, if only to avoid getting beat up, and he made quick enemies of Dragonsbane and Quakefoot shortly after meeting them, as neither femme liked his wandering servos. He’s still convinced Dragonsbane is ‘into him’, but he gave up on Quakefoot after she threatened to do several anatomically impossible things if he didn’t knock it off.
Quakefoot:
- A former illegal boxer named Elise Kingston, she was the best in her weight class until a cheating competitor hid brass knuckles under their wraps and ended her career with a vicious beating.
- She was lured into the ‘Decepticon X’ program through Swindle, who promised her a way to return to the peak of her health (and beyond) and regrets her cooperation…but since she has no way to go back, she tries to make the best of her situation.
- Somewhat protective of Dragonsbane (the only member of the team who wasn’t a criminal of some kind), Quakefoot had something of a crush on her fellow femme but practices a form of tough love on her; she was responsible for quite a few dents and broken parts when trying to teach the younger femme how to fight.
- By far the most powerful member of the team, the only reason Quakefoot hasn’t usurped Skullbasher as leader is sheer laziness and the fact that she really doesn’t want to take on the responsibility. Instead, she’s content to watch from the background as Skullbasher tries to strut for the approval of Megatron and Starscream. So long as she gets to destroy things and Sailback keeps his hands to himself, she’s fine where she is, thank you.
Platecracker:
- The fifth member of the ‘Decepticon Dinobot’ project, the man renamed ‘Platecracker’ did not survive the transferring process. He was not replaced, and knowledge of his existence is confined to a few high-ranking Decepticons, his would-be teammates, and digitized files.
- A former homeless teenager named ?? who agreed to cooperate with the Decepticon X project on the promise of never having to be cold and hungry again.
- Immediately after surviving the transferring process, however, the memory blocker installed in his circuits failed, and Platecracker began to slide into conspiracy and paranoia in an attempt to reconcile the scattered memories of his human life with his falsified Cybertronian origin.
- He successfully figured out the truth about himself and his teammates and attempted to share his findings with Dragonsbane only to be killed by Starscream and Soundwave before he could.
Dragonsbane:
- Originally a member of the Dinocon team, Dragonsbane (originally 'Bane’ but that didn’t sound cool enough for her) is the only Dinocon to defect to the Autobots when given half a chance.
- She is also the only Dinocon not created from a single human, instead being an amalgamation of 3-4 humans as her creation was tacked on to the end of the Dinocon project to finish the roster when a prior-planned shell was destroyed in an Autobot attack and had to be rebuilt from scratch.
- She witnessed the murder of her teammate, Platecracker, and was sentenced to hard labor in the Decepticons’ uranium mine when the stress of maintaining her composure led to her ripping off Sailback’s arm and beating him offline with it.
She stands by that he deserved every bit of it. - Due to the guilt she feels over Platecracker’s death, she routinely sees 'hallucinations’ of his ghost around her, though she tries not to react to it unless alone.
It’s not a hallucination. She’s actually haunted and Platecracker is mildly offended when she pretends not to hear him. He’s hilarious.

been thinking of reviving some very old valentines themed TFOCs since it’s coming up but idk who to do first… Sweet Talker… or Dream Walker…
Some details ig??? They have a Sweetie Pie vs Bad Boy type deal, somehow they’re siblings but their dynamic is horrible they hate eachother.

- became a racer, is pretty famous for all the wrong reasons (as you can imagine, the are a horrible sport and don’t play fair or safe)
- got popular with the wrong crowd, sucks
- bully, everyone is either afraid of them or rude like them
