Very rare 2001 Mercedes-Benz W220 AMG S-Class Pullman limousine seen at the Goldenport race track in Beijing in China. The government bought some to ferry visitors around in Beijing, and a few others were bought by private buyers in later years.
The Pullman was available as S500 or an S600, like the one we have here. The S600 was powered by an AMG 5.8 liter V12 with 367hp and 530nm. Based on the W220 S-Class sedan and converted in house by Mercedes Benz into an ultra luxurious limo fitted with a mini bar and, a rear-seat entertainment system, and a communication system.

A pre-WWII Maybach and the lengthened 2004 Maybach 72 ultra luxurious grandeur.
Asking $800,000 (not counting luxury tax plus sales tax) for an extended gussied Mercedes “S” was too much and it ceased production at the end of 2011. T’was roughly double the original cost of a standard Maybach 62. Being an aftermarket conversion, it wasn’t officially designated “72”.
Standard pre-conversion 62’s came with a sportier “S”6.0 V12 Sportier 62 churning out 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque getting average 10 mpg.
Trivia:- Yes, it’s a stretched Maybach 62. Which is itself a stretched 57, which is itself a stretched Merc S-Class. So it’s slightly longer than most people cared to possess it.
