While playing The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay on the original Xbox, I found myself suddenly face-to-armor plating with one of the most dangerous enemy types in the game, and I was armed with nothing but a tranquilizer. Panicking, I turned and ran, and as the armored guard opened fire, he ended up hitting a a stash of explosives, destroying himself! It was some of my worst luck, immediately followed by some of my best.

Got lucky with the slot machine in Duke Nukem Forever right before a fight, giving me a permanent Ego boost (maximum health boost). Normally I have to clear this area out before its safe to try my hand at the slot machines, but this time, I won on the first try! This gave me an advantage going into thia fight that I normally don’t have, and since this is the hardest difficulty setting, every advantage matters! On top of that, I my aim was landing true while I kept aiming at the pigs and aliens coming at me from the dropship.
