It is mid-February, right? Driving into work today, something caught my eye. I am not sure what season this tree is in, but what a beautiful sight to see.
It is still winter, I have enough daffodils for a small bouquet, my forsythia is blooming… but this was an unexpected delight.

Good morning from the front porch:) After five years of bustling downtown city life, its so calming to have a few of trees and meadows these days. The golden field in the corner is where we spot deer, turkeys and the occasional straw hat as it’s also the site of a community garden. We can’t wait to see what everybody grows this summer! 🥕

For Anna’s birthday, I am working on a copy of Van Gogh’s “Almond Blossoms” - a painting we saw for real at the @natgallerycan some years back. My only note at that time, in my sketchbook, was the title, because we had 2 13 year olds running around the gallery, lol!

I have so enjoyed seeing Spring unfold around us, I am actually embarking on a new experiments in that direction. There will be beauty and hope — I need these so much right now.
