A being made of shadow. It materializes only when no one is looking at it. Its touch is cold, yet somehow comforting. You’ve never seen it - it disappears every time you try to sneak a glance at it - but it protects you. When it is with you, you notice your shadow move in strange ways, but no harm can come to you when it walks beside you.

Lying down at night, in the darkness, you can feel its chilly embrace. A long tail winding around your legs, a narrow snout nuzzling into the back of your neck. You close your eyes and feel it wrap you up in its limbs. It says nothing. You are not sure if it can speak.

Though it is not an angel, it seems to have made itself your guardian. You don’t know what it wants. You know only that it is yours.

This week’s stories include the following: a little stick man haunting a girl in her sleep, a shadow entity with its head facing the wrong way, disembodied clapping in a haunted AirBNB, bodies buried under a school, a cursed ouija experience, an Irish story of fairies, and several sleep paralysis stories. Basically: fun for the whole family!!

I’m reading an article about shadow people and one of the lines in there is just incredibly funny to me. 

“The intent of a shadow creature is nothing but malicious. Since the first report of a shadow person there haven’t been any claims of one of these creatures doing anything positive whatsoever.”

I don’t know, it just makes me think of shouting “You don’t do anything helpful!” at one. They could at least pay rent >;P 

I request some help???

A while back ago, I went to our local crystal shop, and I had a discussion about my connection to birds and Egypt and wings and the eye of Horus.They gave me good direction towards Isis.

They also gave me a general reading, feeling around me for anything in particular. Any spirits or anything there

But one of the biggest things they noticed was a generally large male figure. Without really any definition. Just that he was male, was very large, and was generally a shadow-y hulking mass that seemed….protective for lack of a better word.

But protective perhaps in a hindering way, either trying to protect me from everything or trying to hold me back from gaining further spiritual awareness and growth. I’m leaning more towards the latter.

It was not necessarily bad. But it was not good either. And any further they tried to probe into such matters of spirit guides or messages or anything that might help point me in the right direction, this mass of shadow was blocking any progress.

I’ve since tried meditation, asking outright for it to speak to me, and tried ignoring it and going about my life a usual.

Mediation gets me no where. I hit a brick wall every time. A brick wall of shadow.

Does anyone have any sort of advice or information on such things, or perhaps what I’m dealing with? I’m at a loss and desperate at this point.

I’ve been debating back and forth about answering this and how I should.

I’m terrible at answering these questions, why? Because if this were happening to me, I wouldn’t be worried unless I felt like it was attempting to harm me or I were picking up bad vibes from it or it actually tried to attack me, etc. Things follow me all the time and only a few times did I actually feel like I needed to take action to remove it from my space.

A lot of people would disagree with me though and tell you to get rid of it. So what I’m going to do is leave this open for anyone who follows me to chime in.

My questions for you are: does it upset you? has it tried to harm you? has it tried to attack you? does it cause you harm or pain in anyway (not just physical)? If yes, then remove it or have someone remove it for you.

I can’t tell you if you should be worried about something when I have no idea how it’s making you feel and other factors.

I’m sorry if this isn’t any help at all but unless something is giving me the indication that it’s negative or trying to hurt me, I just let it hang out around me as sometimes things are just passing through and leave on their own but there are a lot of other people who would very much disagree with my thought process.
