Stereotype suppression perpetuates stereotypes as opposed to reducing it, resulting in greater prejudice. As a result, the objectification of women reinforces patriarchal values, particularly in the suppressed form of benevolent sexism, as women who accept chivalrous ‘help’ are seen as less competent for jobs that require relevant ability. However, when that help is accepted, women are seen as less competent for pink-collared work.

So, women are screwed.

So now I am done with sub-Honours statistics. Huh.

In other news, I told my English tutor that I didn’t come last week because I was horrendously sad, and she let me take all the pink Quality Streets out of her two boxes to cheer me up and carry me through my stats test. She’s a sweetie.
