I had a day of inspiration not long ago and came up with this quote:
📖 What’s absorbed by the mind, must be fed in kind.
If you wish to learn something new or advance on something you already know, you need to understand the difference between deep learning and hands on practice:
1. Deep learning is probably the most important part of becoming proficient at something. The process of deep learning is to be completely focused and uninterrupted when absorbing new knowlege. This should be for a short period of time (20-45 minutes) and should occur frequently (3-5 days a week).
2. Hands on practice is also very important. Here you apply what you’ve learned as part of a simulated scenario. Experiment, be mindful, and more importantly, have fun. Practice as frequently as you can. You’ll continue becoming a better version of yourself 👏.
3. An added bonus to retaining knowlege you’ve absorbed, is to teach it to someone else. This is a powerful technique. By teaching it to someone else, you shift your mind into a gear that stresses you to understand what you’ve learned. This is a good stress, don’t worry.
Till next time…Code with Passion, Innovate, and Have Fun 😎.
