Once Syana becomes grounded and opens her Root Chakra Core, she feels secure in her ability to manifest abundance and has faith in the future’s good fortune instead of focusing on the fearful past.

She gains the ability to summon a pentacle to form a wall and damage enemies, slam down on top of a pentacle while airborne, and raise a pentacle to act as a barrier or platform. Pentacle currency may end up being the resource for this and/or mana.

Thinking about a pentacle/coin summon as one of the abilities from the root chakra. It can be summoned in midair to slam the ground and damage enemies beneath it, and stacked to access higher platforms.

The pentacle is from tarot, representing fortune, material wealth, accumulation, cultivation. It fits well with the root chakra which deals with security, stability, physical energy, health, perseverance, and belonging.

Greed is an aspect of root chakra shadow, which can be brought on from scarcity turning into hoarding and wanting to have a safety cushion in case of emergency. After defeating the Shadow of Fear which has been draining Syana’s energy from peace and stability, she may get this ability, turning greed from a shadow into a gift. If this ends up as a turn based game, it could also unlock a coin toss attack.

Observation about silver Rowan Pentagrams:

I’ve made a strange magick related observation. I’m quite fond of the protection ward known as the Rowan Pentagram. It’s a star made of Rowan twigs and tied to keep its shape using something red to bind it. “Rowan twigs, and strings of red, deflect all harm, gossip, and dread.”

The rowan tree (also known as the mountain ash) is supposed to be innately magical for protection purposes. The berries of the Rowan tree have a pentagram shape on the underside of each berry.

The pentagram (Pentacle without the circle) is a sacred symbol to Wiccans and other Neo Pagans as representing the elements of nature and magick and protection against evil. It’s also a sacred symbol to the Baha'i faith where it is called the Haykal.

A few years ago a company called YFN started selling sterling silver replicas of the Rowan Pentagram as a Wiccan Pentagram. And, admittedly, it’s very beautiful.

And it DOES work well as a protection ward; however I have noticed a certain side effect you should be wary of if you choose to wear this or one similar to it, for protection, especially against harm, gossip, and dread.

It works. It works very well. Let’s get that out of the way first. Despite not being literal Rowan twigs and the bound points not being red, the visual representation and intention is there. And silver is already a protective metal, sacred to the moon and used in protective magicks.

The possible negative side effect or drawback is the silver pendant version of the Rowan Pentagram works as described. While wearing it you are protected, shielded. But once you take the protective ward pendant off, you may suddenly be bombarded by all that harm, gossip, or dread you had previously been shielded from.

The solution is either confront and deal with these threats before you consider removing the protective amulet or don’t take the pendant off, if you can help it.

I witnessed someone, who had been given a silver Rowan Pentagram, suddenly hit with all the negativity she had been shielded against, like slamming into a brick wall of negative psychic energy. She took off the pendant at the worst possible time and her life went to Hell.

It was not the pendant’s fault. The pendant had been shielding her, as it should, but her taking it off at a time of great risk left her vulnerable.

This is true with most protection wards. Do not remove or lower them until or if you know you are truly safe or all those things you were protecting yourself against will find you.

TL;DR: Silver pendant replicas of the Rowan pentagram do work but if you take one off that you had been wearing, you could suddenly get hit by all the things you were protecting yourself against. So take it seriously, like wearing the magical equivalent of a bullet proof vest in a combat zone.

Now someone could say this result is psychosomatic but it’s better to be safe than sorry so don’t remove your protection amulet until you are absolutely sure the threats are gone and that you and your loved ones are safe. Don’t remove it at all if you don’t have to.

Donald Duck explains the sacred geometry aspect of the pentagram and why it was the sigil of Pythagoras. Yes, this is real. No, it is not AI generated. Walt Disney really made this.

It also makes one think- an emblem associated with the father of mathematics and music that represented the key element in all geometric constructs was suddenly perceived as evil and demonic.

It wasn’t just an ancient symbol representing the five elements of nature and magick, it was also the ancient keystone to mathematical principles of geometry. The fear of the pentagram isn’t just a fear of Paganism and “other” beliefs, it’s a fear of math, science, and knowledge.

The difference between Pentacle and Pentagram…

Edit note: This post is NOT about the symbolism which is sacred and a major symbol among Pagan groups (including Wicca) as the five elements of nature and magick (Water, Fire, Earth, Air and Spirit.) With the circle representing unity, infinity, the cosmos, the cycles of life, and harmony.

With and without the circle the symbol is one of faith and protection against harm and against evil.

Again: This post is NOT about the symbolic meaning. It’s about the literal meaning of the words. I only put this here because we are on the Internet and I have to clarify everything…

__________________

Google will tell you that in modern language the pentacle is an amulet of a five pointed star, usually within the circle, while pentagram is used for just a five pointed star, usually without the circle.

Some people use pentagram to mean the upside down version of the five pointed star in the circle and use pentacle interchangably to mean the five pointed star with or without the circle.

What’s the true difference?

Well, simply… the language.

Pentagram is Greek and it means “five pointed shape.”

Pentacle is half-Greek and half Latin. You have the Greek Penta (five) and acle (small shape) so this one is usually used for the amulets, usually within the circle.

But in reality both words loosely mean five pointed shape. Neither literally describes a circle at all. “acle” just suggests size.

So whether you use the words interchangeably or reserve pentagram for sacred geometry and pentacle for the jewelry version of the star in a circle, you are both correct, at least as far as etymology is concerned.

Pentacle

One of the charms that are available in my shop. You can request it on any item with a charm.

Balance

Protection

Interconnectedness

Represents the harmony between the 5 elements – earth, air, fire, water, & spirit

Many people confuse the pentacle and pentagram. A pentacle is encircled, a pentagram is just the “star” – thus all pentacles are pentagrams, but not all pentagrams are pentacles.

Sometimes the pentacle is associated more strongly with the element of earth, thereby giving it powers of balance and grounding. Meditate on the pentacle and focus on earth, the sturdy nature of it (mostly), the cool calm; visualize yourself becoming a part of the earth and feel how connected you are to it.

This symbol is also believed to protect the wearer. Because it connects all of the elements, the pentacle affords the properties of each to whomever wears it. Think of it as a religious symbol, like the cross or the Hamsa, each of which is said to evoke some type of protection from their deities.

The pentacle is a symbol of interconnection because it is made from an unbroken line. It also brings together the elements (some religions believe the points belong to other ideas as well) to a cohesive whole, which shows the symmetry found between them.
