A short study into how easily EE/CT meet for the first time. How comfortable it is to be together.

Towering over two thousand feet above Rio de Janeiro stands Corcovado and the famous statue of Christ that sits dramatically above this beautiful South American city. The only way to walk to the top requires traveling up a single steep, challenging, twisting road. I should know as I hiked both up and down it and it was the toughest hike of my life!
If you were in Rio and you asked someone “How do you get to the top of Corcovado?” and they said “There are many roads!” it would be obvious they didn’t know, or actually believed they did know.
Others have actually said the same regarding the road that leads to heaven.
Oprah Winfrey once famously proclaimed on her TV show that there were many roads to God (be it Buddha, Confucius, Allah, Self-Realization, ‘Being Spiritual,’ or just being a good moral person.) Sadly, this is also what many people also think and believe, but just like Corcovado there is only one road to get there, and this is to and through the Cross of Christ.
The next verse after today’s scripture speaks of an alternate route - a wide road that most people travel, but that road does not lead to the eternity that they had hoped. In fact the word in the original language says instead leads to the way of eternal destruction.
Friend, you can believe any map that you feel leads you to heaven and God - or even no god at all. The question you have to answer is Which Road Is The Right Road?
Jesus said “I AM THE WAY”
So “Are there MANY ways to heaven?
…Or just ONE WAY?”
Which road are you on?
God Bless Your Day

The Unpopular Truths
We live in a world where “truth” is often redefined. People say things like, “Live your truth,” or “My truth might not be your truth.” It sounds empowering, but when it comes to eternity, the Bible makes it clear: there aren’t multiple truths. There’s only one. And it’s not always the most popular.
Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Notice He didn’t say, “a way.” He said, “the way.” That one statement confronts every belief system that claims to offer another route to God. And Acts 4:12 echoes this: “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” These are not suggestions—they’re facts. And facts don’t change just because we wish they would.
The hard part? Not everyone will accept this truth. Jesus said in Matthew 22:14, “For many are called, but few are chosen.” God’s invitation is wide open, but only those who respond with surrender are chosen. That’s sobering, because it reminds us that simply “hearing” about Jesus isn’t the same as following Him.
And there’s another reality we can’t ignore. Hebrews 9:27 says, “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” Death is unavoidable, and judgment is certain. This isn’t something most people want to talk about. But avoiding it doesn’t make it less real. The only safe place is in Christ.
Proverbs 11:21 makes it plain: “Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” Popular opinion won’t protect us from God’s judgment. The crowd can agree on something wrong, but God’s word will still stand. The wicked won’t escape, but those who belong to Him will be saved.
Here’s the takeaway: these truths are unpopular, but they’re unshakable. They won’t win you applause, but they will give you life. They won’t make you fit in with the crowd, but they will secure your eternity with God. And at the end of the day, that’s what matters most.
So the question is—are you willing to embrace the unpopular truths, even if it costs you popularity? Because in exchange, you gain what no crowd, no opinion, and no trend can give you: peace with God and eternal life in Christ.
